I wanted to try recording my design process, which is just kind of boring actually. but I also wanted to render the coloring a lil more than I usually do so its less boring I hope!
this character is called Hal, he's a seagull (duh)
I made him so my main bro Luka would have a friend for his octopus oc
he's laidback and kind of a delinquent. steals stuff, is generally a douche, etc. doesn't give a dang about danger
the red stripe on his chin is the equivalent of the red dot seagulls have on their beaks
and the blue thing on his pants is a tag, like that thing those birds have around their feetsies
