In celebration of the announcement of Spelunky 2, I decided I would take it upon myself to upload the full OST for Spelunky HD, as I had been having trouble finding some specific tracks.
I do not own or claim to own any of these tracks.
You'd think that making the ice caves more enclosed would make it easier, but in fact it's the polar opposite. Getting an altar here is fun though.

My favorite Spelunky song by far. The smooth jazz just fits so well with the yetis. Derek intended to have them just be vibin in the ice caves, and this is perfect for it. There’s just something about it. Just pure perfection.

True. I still like the songs in 2, but I like the overall style of HD over 2. For example, olmec theme in HD is 10 times better. I do like tiamats theme and sunken city/cosmic ocean theme tho, and tide pools really fits the theme

Spelunky HD is one of my favorite indie games ever created. And this soundtrack will always hold a special place in my heart. God bless Eirik Surkhe for this amazing score. 🎷

These tracks create more atmosphere than 2's OST could ever evoke. I love the sound design of Spelunky 2 but there's pretty much no bangers, only white noise to my ears after a while. I hope the dynamic music (which added nothing to the game) was just an experiment and they opt for 3-4 catchy tracks again for each stage in Spelunky 3 if it ever comes

I CANT CHOOSE IF SPELUNKY HD YETI CAVES OR SPELUNKY 2 YETI CAVES ARE BETTER, THEIR BOTH SO GOOOOOOOOOOOOD. I loved both of them but HD is the fan favorite.

Reasons this is the best song in the game: 1: It’s a wonderful, jazz like song that fits the atmosphere of the level 2: yetis are a tiny bit like monkeys, monkeys are my favourite animal
