Just finished the season. They are kind of everything. They truly killed it with the pairings this season. Malakai and Am are so soulmates coded, Darren and Cash became so much more deep than last season and i’m rooting for them even more. Ant and Harper are a 10/10 too. Like good angst and yearning all around.

@@daurrionwatt9070 while makakai is obviously the endgame and better option, i did want to see them explore spider and am. But Spider opened up to Missy about his home life and everything in a way he never did with am, and Am also went through a huge traumatic thing that Malakai supported her through, so whatever love triangle could have been there it is now too late to explore. I do hope next season spider interacts more with other characters and maybe a friendship between him and am could be potentially explored!! (Especially because his best friend ant is now a thing with Harper too)

@@valentinafangirling EXACTLY! You summed it up perfectly. It sort of felt like Spider had no conversations with anyone other than Missy. I didn't hate Missy and Spider but it was so weird how the writers built up this love triangle only for it to go nowhere? It was also crazy how Am and Spider had NO scenes alone together this season. I would LOVE at least a friendship with Amerie, considering how he does not seem to be an option for a love interest anymore.

I really love what they did here. No one's just one side of a medal and I really appreciate how they decided to let him mature this much and giving us a little insight of his background. Damn I actually felt bad for him when we met the Mom.

I KNEW those 2 would end up together ! There is a razor thin line btwn love and hate when its that intense its a fucking magnet they just pull together & cant get enough of each other - match made in heaven

As much as I do like Amerie are y’all forgetting she was low-key trash to spider? Literally only used him and then discarded him like a wet paper towel when he couldn’t get an erection then proceeded to act like nothing ever happened. Why would y’all want him to be with someone like that? I’m glad the story line let spider move on and amerie become a better person because hanging on to the fantasy of being with someone despite the fact the fact that they hurt you is completely problematic and toxic. This is why spider and missy make more sense. Missy cared enough to stick around and listen and while she also had her troubles of bringing her secret relationship to light she still didn’t discard spider away like a prostitute after a motel hookup.

@@nakaylahsmith7356 it's amazing how ppl delude themselves. Like did they not remember amerie throwing his clothes at him from a distance like he's a parasite? I was like dang at least act nice or something jeez. This is why one sided relationship don't work unless someone is drunk or is desperate

@@moonhattrelyrics I feel like so many people like it because they think their trope is like an enemies to lovers type of situation. But it’s really just so one sided and amerie has never shown any interest in spider except for that one episode and we already saw the results of that night. He was humiliated and she didn’t even apologize or seem sorry about it. So i have no idea why people are still holding onto that. Missy was so much better for him she made him a better person so i can’t fathom how people still want him with amerie.

@@nakaylahsmith7356 bc Wattpad, school authorities defending bullies, and growing up in toxic relationship environments have pretty much made a lot of people believe that dumb rule of "If they're bullying you it means they secretly like you" or they'll try to change that person instead of finding someone interested. That's why they're so stuck on amerie bc these days it's almost impossible and unbelievable to find a genuine person that wants to help, heal and hear you (malakai towards amerie, missy towards spider) for who you are.

did you even watch the show? they didn't break up because of THAT. she (temporarily) dumped him because her friend Sasha judged her because he was a total dickhead and made lots of pretty messed up stuff. but they made up in the finale.
