Haha hello! This is great I can feel your excitement! The sea scares the bajeeebus out of me! So no sailing for me thanks. Narrowboat life was never a dream, it just happened!

@@wellbeingonwater so what happened in your life that had you end up blowing a load of cash onto the slow pace of life such as a Narrowboat, since moving into a flat would be less stressful, or you could of probably stayed with dad, as you two seem to get on like a house on fire? I on the other hand spent 5 years looking for my perfect boat, I had a list of requirements, and in the end the boat chose me, I found the ideal spec boat that everything on my list but when I stepped in it felt wrong 😑, marina said I have another boat for you to look at, it’s completely wrong for a single hander, it’s over your budget, but it will give you ideas of what you want. I had absolutely no intention of buying as she was too big, but as I approached, I started to get excited, “what big windows you have?”, “All the better to see you with!”, what a great cruiser deck, all the better to socialise with and make new fiends of an evening, then what a nice interior. I went home and on my way home Decided she was for me, I called the bank and got a loan, as she was out of budget, it was accepted, I called the broker and she was under offer, Dam!, I was too late, I continued looking, a month later I got a call, Endevour is available again, so I said yes, not asking why the sail fell through. And our (Endevour and I) adventure together began etc….

For sure!! Waiting for spring so I can open my hatches 😁
