This is a very cool video. Great editing, site location, and all round vibe. Since you're in the Coranderrk area, it would be excellent if in future videos you could mention a bit of the Indigenous history in places like this. Coranderrk was the area where the first reservation was created for Indigenous people, including William Barak, and so it plays an especially important place in the history of this area. It's a complex history, but I think it's great to talk about it more, especially in relation to bushwalking and ways of connecting with land. Thanks and keep up the great work!

Thanks for watching! I am surprised reading some of the signs while I was there that the indigenous history was not more obvious. Although I might have missed it. but thank you, that is a good reminder you've given me to include it for future videos. :)

The aboriginals choose a specific bit of land in that area to be there’s it’s all fenced around the whole area and has no public access badger creek goes through area and it pretty much attached to Healesville sanctuary cool stuff

Hi! I have recently discovered your channel. Brings back memories of my time backpacking in Aus years ago. Thinking of moving back to Melbourne sometime in the next few years. I love the outdoors, spend my free time hiking here in Canada. Wondering if you have any recommendations for hiking clubs/organizations in the area? Will need some hiking buddies if I move back!

Lovely video Hayley! Beautifully shot!! Even a raven wants a starring role! 🤣 What an amazing place to escape to, to relax and enjoy and do some video editing... All at your own leisure. There's so many walks and trails around there. I have a few around Warburton that I'm planning to do as well. Beautiful area. Thanks for another wonderful video Hayley 😎

Thank you!! Haha there was also one that was hanging around on the porch at the cabin. Probably followed me there 😂 I was originally going to do an 'edit with me' video similar to some people on youtube doing 'study with me' videos but I couldnt help myself and ended up going out and filming all the other stuff haha If I had more time I would have gone to the waterfall and to warburton, will just have to be next trip! 😀

Are you back from NZ or is this video footage you took before going to NZ? I am really looking forward to more of your NZ videos. I'm planning to go to NZ in 2023 for a couple of months, and I want to see where you hiked to give me some ideas where to go. Nice video you made here though.

I went back home for a month so filmed it then, but back in NZ again now. What months will you be visiting NZ? I’ll have done at least 6 ‘great walks’ by March and obviously film other hikes in between. Hopefully those videos can start coming out soon the next NZ video will be the Routeburn Track then Abel Tasman Track :)

@@settohike Right now, it looks like early October to mid-December of 2023, with possibly a week in Australia (Sydney area) on the way to NZ. I hope to see as much of NZ as I can while there.
