@@elegancy8265 as someone from a very rich, self-made, family, most wealthy parents wouldn’t approve of this kind of spending. Part of being rich is knowing how to conserve & spend your money wisely, and effective parenting wouldn’t allow such a waste on the ephemeral thrills of a video game. Obviously I didn’t grow up with this kid, but my parents were always emphasizing my conservation of my money/enforcing spending habits. Even though they could have dropped $500k on SB for Christmas, they were religious about smart spending practices. Essentially what I’m trying to convey is that even though this kid might’ve been able to afford these gems, spending such exorbitant funds for an ultimately temporary pleasure is horrible parenting/money management, his parents would be far better investing in real estate or company shares for him so that he could set himself up to be as financially successful as his parents. This spending only breeds bad habits.

It has p2w features so it can fund future updates, better anticheat, and at the end of the day, it is a huge server and people work on the hypixel staff team, they have to be paid and there are more than adequate money making methods such as armadillo mining, not to mention, skills play a huge part in how far you will progress through the game.
