I can't get over how cheap the equipment is now days. In 95 I had 4 Orion 15s on 2 Red Series Orion 100watt amps a 50watt Red Series Orion amp on Polk 6.5 components and 4 inch components.... With Kenwood deck, Kenwood EQ, disc change. Monster Cable wirer. Dynamat... I spent $6,000... In 95.... Times are changing

Way to come through big dog!! It took me 9 months to build my system. Waiting for sales, buying stuff here and there. All and all it was about 6k for just two 12's and a complete system overhaul

I built my demo truck with 40-50$ a week for three years, I have 6 crossfire 18's and six smart five bass on 200ah of cmax two alts and a three four channels, the cost is only half the part if u don't have the skill to build it double your costs right their, i built it to 4-18's first b pillar oc and make a lot of mistakes, but with the 6-18 it went much better, agter the box was built it took me weeks to finish it, running dual alts and custom electric system Noone else has done isn't easy and takes forever truck hasn't been to a show this year waiting on a custom fat boy regulator

I have all my smart fives running at half ohm, In a sixth order so rise is an issue but I have clamped 6600 put of each Amp, the smart fives r the best Amp under 600, the only issue I have with my taramps is three notches below max volume set I only get about 20% out of the Amp, at next to full volume I get about 35% then one more click 100% of it, using a deh80 set at 1.9 volts rca it seems to be the sweet spot

Do you know any thing about dsp..I got a Dayton 408 dsp for my build but iv seen ppl with dsp and eq and thought of grn one my self but I have asked in some audio groups about this question.. Some say it pointless to have a eq if you have a dsp..but there are some that have both and think other wise.. I may have a few questions to ask you about how to wire up a system of this caliber..as mine is around the same size.. I am about 90% sure I will be qt the show next weekend.. So I will definitely be sure to find you.. This stuff is super expensive.. I am not even done yet and iv been working on picking up thing here and I am around 5k..and some stuff like my 4 group 31 agms I got from work for free.
