I had a somewhat similar experience flying Singapore to Nagoya a long time ago. It was on a Singapore Airlines 747 and there was a total of 7 passengers onboard - 5 in business class and 2 of us in economy. The cabin crew took it in turns to be our personal crew for the flight. Oddest flight I've ever been on. For the first 2-3 hours I kept feeling like they would announce they'd made a terrible mistake and were going to turn around to go back and pick up the other 250 passengers they had forgotten.

I had a Miami to Houston flight like that. There were about 6 of us on board. The FA’s just said sit wherever and instead of rolling the beverage cart out, they said just push the button if we wanted anything. There was literally more crew (FA’s and pilots) than passengers. It was fantastic

Japan has worked very hard to make meals like this. Their konbini(7 and i / 7-11, Lawson's, Family Mart) will have large sections of ready to eat meals, and probably several shelves of unrefrigerated bread and stuff, all closely controlled to prevent selling old stuff(the registers at 7 and i actually include the expiration in the barcode scan at the register). There's even small boxes of hamburgers, unrefrigerated and strangely okay. If you look at things like their military rations and emergency supplies, many of them come from the shelf stable or long life foods produced for konbinis or vending machines(for example, microwave rice containers and curry in a retort pouch). Japanese people are particular about the food they eat, they wouldn't be okay with stuff like "fiesta pail". If you want the beginnings of this kind of stuff, find the "project X" manga on Momofuku Ando. It's a manga about him working to create cup noodles/top ramen as an industrial mass produced food in a changing Japan(that needed "fast food") to feed it's workers and gives you insight on the what/why/how of Japanese on-the-go food.

I once took the Hankyu ferry from Izumiotsu to Shinmoji (it has really good food and cold beer). Well, first I flew into Narita and unpacked my bicycle and rode to Osaka before taking the ferry. When I took my bike onto the ferry, they laid a carpet down which was used to put my bicycle on for transport. After arriving in Shinmoji, I followed the coast around through Kitakyushu to Fukuoka. That was one of my most favorite trips. Thanks for the wonderful video! Seeing Shinmoji Port brought back lots of memories.

Thank you for another wonderful video. You kept improving on feeding money into the machines one handed. Apparently, you were holding the camera with the other hand. I wished I could have helped you. Does pizza normally get eaten with chopsticks? For a moment I thought you were going to bring back the second pizza to your capsule for a midnight snack. (A freshly made pizza leftovers is great the next day) This looks great for a single day trip. I'm glad you enjoyed the trip. Lately I've been watching videos on 911 ferry/ boat rescues, also the US Airways Flight 1549 made an emergency landing in the Hudson River on January 15, 2009. Seven to fourteen ferries were involved (depending on the source of information) in the rescue.

This outta be the beginning of some disaster/zombie apocalypse story. Lone passenger and a couple of ship crew are making the overnight run and then some outbreak happens at destination so they turn around to go back, but by the time they get back the outbreak has spread to there as well so they can’t put ashore. Not sure where the story would go after that, but it’s an interesting set up.
