Excellent! Your simple SHOWING of the list of CLOTHING you take is worth the video. I remember starting out traveling as a young person having trouble sorting what TO take and what NOT TO take. Yours is a great list. Also, thanks for showing the construction - - been there, done that NUMEROUS times - - with pickups and vans - - - keep up the good work. When i was sleeping in my jeep i would usually go to a hotel parking lot cause i knew it wouldn't look sketchy with my vehicle sitting there for a long time.

That's pretty smart. What are other places people typically stay at overnight? - I'm planning a similar road trip and would prefer to just sleep in my vehicle each night as well. What about truck stops, can you stay there? Also how likely are you to ever get approached at Walmart or a similar-sized business by security/employees and told to leave?

@@zants_ For big stores like that at Walmart etc, it depends from store to store. Some will let cars stay in their lot overnight and some won’t. Most stores that don’t allow overnight parkers will have signs up saying so

I'm from out west and I haven't been to Iowa yet but I admit I've studied maps pretty thoroughly and I always give Iowa a hard time for having nothing you'd really want to visit, along with Nebraska and Kansas. I have been to Kansas and it had awesome powerful thunderstorms and nice inexpensive places to live and all that but there really is nothing like the West

I bought my dream Wrangler 3 weeks ago in Michigan and decided it was time for a road trip. Fitted the back with a foam topper and everything I needed and been traveling down the east coast for 2 weeks now just doing whatever I want. If I didn’t start watching your videos I probably wouldn’t have done this trip so thank you. Next is to build it into an over landing Jeep and learning how to actually cook 😂🤘

First time we stayed at Walmart in our motorhome it felt sketchy, now it’s just part of our road trips. Mavs setup is pretty stealthy, he can probably get away with the no overnight Walmart’s.
