Sir I have one question Q. geometrical representation of the zeroes of a polynomial is the curve intersect the x-axis, the intersection point is said to be zeroes of the curve. But why the intersection point of x-axis is said to be zeroes of the curve not to be said the intersection of y-axis is the zeroes of polynomial? Please answer this.

Y axis represents P(x) and in intersection of x axis y=0 means P(x)=0 that is the zero or root of that equation
