At 4:00 the lower picture (looks correct) and 5:12 the angle 3rd from the right contradict each other.

He starts at the transmission and measures a 4° down angle. Down angle from what? What did he zero the protactor out on as a starting point?

Down from front to rear. Slopes down to the rear.

@@ericdolby1622 I understand what down angle is. My question is down angle from what? What is the point on the truck that is the zero or level reference point?

@@MrBullfrog92 a digital protractor needs to be zeroed on a known level surface before taking measurements. An analog protractor doesn't need to be zeroed but should be checked for accuracy before taking measurements. Vehicles need to be at ride height without the suspension unloaded (meaning all four tires are supported on a platform lift). The lift should be level, if it's not don't use it.
