Sending my love ... එක දිගට දින සති මාස ගනන් තියෙන චුරු චුරුව කදුකරයට නම් සාමාන්‍ය දෙයක්. මීදුම් සේල කදු අතර තැම්පත් වෙලා හරියට කදු අතරින් අහසට යන්න වලාකුළු පඩිපෙලක් මවලා වගේ. ටක ටක චුරු චුරු ටක ටක චුරු චුරු... ටකරම් වහලයටයි තැන තැන තියෙන පොල් අතු වලටයි වැහි පොද වැටෙද්දි නිතරම ඒ ඇහෙන නිස්කලංක හඩත් එක්කම මේ ලස්සන සීතල දවසේ රසම රස උණුසුම් කෑම වේලක් සූදාම් කරන්නයි ලෑස්තිය. බැදලා කන්න කියාපු පරව් මාලුවොයි කිරට හොද්දකට ගැලපෙන බෝල්ලු මාලුයි තියෙනවා . රට වටම මුහුද තියෙන මේ ලංකා දූපතේ මාලු නම් කවදාවත්ම හිගයක් නෑ. උඩරටට වුනත් මූදුකරෙන් නිතරම මාලු උදේම ලැබෙනවා. පිටි කෑමකට හොදින් ගැලපෙන මේ මාලු දෙවර්ගය එක්ක අද හදන්නෙ චපාති වර්ගයක්. උණු උණුවෙම කන්න ඕනෙ චපාතියට මුලින් පිටි අනලා සූදාම් කරලා පැත්තකින් තියලා අලුත් මාලු සුද්ද කරගන්න ගියාම පිටි මෝලිය හොදට පදම් වෙන්න ඒ කාලය හොදටම ඇති. කුලුබඩු යහමින් තියෙන ලංකාවේ අපි පිටරට උදවිය වගේ ලුනු ගම්මිරිස් විතරක්ම ඉහගෙන මාලු කන එක එක්තරා විදියකට අපරාදයක්. ලෝකයේ රසම රස සියල්ල එකට කැටි වුන කුලුබඩු තොගයක් තමයි අපිට තියෙන්නේ. ඉනුත් සැර රස අධිකම අපේ රටේ හැදෙන කුලුබඩු බව ලෝකයට නම් නොරහසක්. කුලුබඩු රසගැන්නුම් සියල්ලම ලාවට තෙල් තැවරූ කබලේ දාලා තද ගින්දරේ බදිද්දි වටෙන් නැගෙන ගිනි දැල්ල කබල උඩත් ආක්‍රමණය කරගන්න එක නම් ඇත්තටම නවත්වන්න ඕනි නෑ. ලා තෙල් තට්ටුවක් නිසා කබල ඇවිලෙද්දි කුළුබඩු සහ රසගැන්නුම් බැදෙනව විතරක් නෙවෙයි පොඩ්ඩක් විතර පිච්චෙනවා. දන්නවනෙ ඉතිං සුදුලූනු එහෙම පිච්චුනාම තියෙන්නෙ වෙනම රසක් සුවදක් කියලා.. ඉතිං මේ වැඩෙන් යොදාගන්න අමුද්‍රව්‍ය වල රසය සුවද තවත් වැඩි වෙන නිසා කබල ඇවිලෙද්දි කලබල නොවී ටිකක් ගින්දරටත් ඉඩ දෙන්න. ඇත්තටම ඒක හරිම ලස්සනයි .... ඉතිං ... සීතලත් එක්ක උණුසුම් රස කෑම ඉදෙන කදුකරයේ මැටි පැල්පතේ ඉස්සර දවසකට ඇවිත් යන්න අදත් ඔයා ආවට බොහොම ස්තුතියි. මං... උඩරට මැණිකේ
