In this recipe AchisKitchen has given the traditional potato croquettes a Desi Twist - mashed potatoes seasoned with chillies and bound together with flour then fried. They're a real crowd-pleaser that can be served as an appetiser, a snack, or side dish.
Ingredients :-
5 Medium Potatoes Boiled
5-7 Fresh Green Chillies
1 tablespoon of Dried Mint Leaves
1 tablespoon Corn Flour
1 tablespoon All Purpose Flour
Fresh Chives
Fresh Coriander
Red Chilli Flakes
Salt
Method of cooking :-
Rice the boiled potatoes into a bowl
Add the chopped coriander, chives & chillies
Add the mint and spices
And the corn flour and all purpose flour
Mix together throughly until a dough is formed
You can taste and add any extra spice at this point
Pop some oil into a frying pan and put the heat on medium
While the oil is warming up
Take a small amount of potato mixture and roll it out into a sausage type shape entirely up to you how long you want the croquettes to be
Once you have done this start to fry your potato (sticks) croquettes until they are crisp & golden brown
Serve with your choice of dips
