I'm about to do mine, and I watched a genius video previously where the guy duct/eletrical tapes the top of the new cable to the bottom of the old cable, drags it through the bike so the new cable is routed exactly the same way.

Thanks for all the videos. I've got a 2011 XJ6 with just 14k miles. Is that quite low mileage for the clutch and accelerator cables? I'm always a bit paranoid that one might snap at high speed 😳 any thoughts? Thanks.

Is it true that tail tidy kits let water ingress into the seats electronics and having a wet back? I have the ugly stock rear wheel hugger type one which is water tight.
