Writer's strike ended last month my dude. It's just the actors demanding more money now that's all it is at this point. That's why there's no coverage anymore. The pressing issues have all been addressed and the companies bent the knee. Only thing holding the Venom Spin-Off back is as long as the Actors are on strike there's a 50/50 chance Tony Todd can't voice act until it ends (voice acting might be ok since it's *sadly* not considered """"real acting"""" but I digress.) But yeah unless he decides to leave the union because he just *loves* voicing Venom that much and can't wait to do it again. We're probably not gonna hear him for awhile.

And Kletus Cassidy already has his hands on the symbiote. Though if they want to make things different, I could see Carnage as an opening/mid boss of Spider-Man 3 (or the DLC for 2 if they have the budget), with the Symbiote be taken by Oscorp in the aftermath. Considering that it’s very likely that Goblins are going to be the main antagonist of Spider-Man 3, I wouldn’t be surprised if the Red Goblin ends up being the final boss of the series.

Venom could only accomplish it after getting what I would guess lore-wise would be a tool Knull created for scouts (like Venom) to be able to terraform and conquer planets for him. Carnage will definitely be in a third game but honestly I don’t want anything cosmic level. The city wide symbiote pandemic Web of Shadows style was good enough for me. Once you delve into eldritch horrors it stops being a Spider-Man game

@@seliteguitarist3664 Maybe it could play out similarly enough in the beginning, with the Carnage symbiote infesting Cletus and reproducing, with the difference being the Followers of the Flame are more than willing to lose their humanity as they rampage through the city. But as a grand finale, Cletus/Carnage decides to eat all of his followers, whether they want it or not, growing into a giant like he did a few times in the comics, leading to a fight similar to the Sandman one.

I still don't know why those theories started. Everything pointed at Harry. The final piece was literally when they dropped the main spider-man 2 theme and venom's start. You could hear it was just an evil version of the theme that played at the start of the story trailer when Harry was shown.

You have to also remember that carnage also exists. Cletus Kassidy stole a portion of symbiote. So Carnage being a potential final boss is also a possibility (although I think it would be climactic if the final boss was Green Goblin…. Bonded with a Carnage symbiote.)

Dunno why but this portrayal of Harry reminds me of the amazing Spider-Man 2 movie and the ultimate Spider-Man cartoon series. Even though TASM2 was poorly written it showed Harry being sick which forced him to turn green Goblin. Same here but he's venom. And if we compare it with the ultimate Spider-Man cartoon there was this episode where he was controlling the Symbiote and going around as black suit Spider-Man until he lost control and became venom. Insomniac did improve both the storylines giving us glimpse of both

Me as huge fan of symbiot I loved how Insomniac made Venom, The story, the development of loved-betrayed between Harry/Venom and Peter. They went so deep to Symbiot Lore and made Venom so well done. He became what he could have been if him and the symbiots were taken serious threats to the world like in Web Of Shadows. This Venom so far to me is Amazing. Props for Insomniac games for giving us the best venom.

I love Harry Osborn as Venom, more than Eddie and Mac Gargan (Scorpion). It makes the rivalry between him and Spider-Man even more interesting/intense because of how close they are as friends and it makes for better storytelling.

Harry venom here kinda feel like what I was expecting from ultimate venom eddie when they tries setting up how they were practically brothers, but then ruined that thread by making eddie a total ass. Spectacular spiderman Managed to use the idea much better, seeing this versions goals go beyond revenge makes me curious to weigh him compared to all the other venoms

I wished they Used Eddie as venom and Harry as Green Goblin or hobgoblin. The game is fantastic but the way they did the symbiote story was horrible. Not all villains need to have a friendship personal connection to him . With good writing you can make a compelling story with Eddie and Peter being rivals first . Making Harry venom was not creative and it was just lazy because we've already seen the good friend/ mentor go bad story twice in a row . Insomniac can do better . Just my opinion please don't crucify like seriously so many Insomniac minions attack this opinion like Insomniac can do no wrong. It's a great game but in my opinion Venom wasn't handled well and for goodness sakes GIVE THE MAN HIS BLACK WEBS !!!!!!! Stop copying ultimate spiderman venom that's gotten old 😒 I want the real VENOM the true anti spiderman not some jumping brute with no combos and webs once again 🤦♂️great game nonetheless

It's a thing from the comics, in the lore of the Symbiotes aka Klyntar, the original Venom symbol wasn't actually a spider, but was retconned into a symbiote dragon for their origins. So when bonded, most symbiotes naturally have dragon-like wings, Venom's just adds a bit of a Spider touch

I will say I do miss Venow being able to swing on black webs, but.. I guess they kinda made a good call having the tentacles propel him cuz with how massive this depiction of him is. Still miss them and the Ultimate Spider-man "Huuuuunger" and such. Also must say, how did Harry not figure something was up when ONLY NOW, when he goes to his mother's grave with the suit, he hears her voice... Pretty sure Emily didn't have black tentacle powers, so Harry, who else do we know with similar abilities?

It would've been cool for sure, but Also difficult? Venom definitely wouldn't be doing the same missions miles and Spiderman would do. Civilians would panic in his mere vicinity, cops would be trying to blast him to high hell, and they'd need to find out a reason he doesn't kill any of the optional bosses.

Finally someone revealed the real Venom. Venom, whom we have watched in movies all these years, was introduced as a very childish character. Especially the Venom 1 and 2 series were completely awful. I wish they made the Venom character this brutal and scary in the movies. The new Venom 3 movie will be childish in my opinion. Sony and Marvel, please jointly use this character and use it in the Spider-Man series.

You’ll be surprised but that movie Venom is actually more accurate than this. Venom isn’t a villain to anyone who isn’t named Peter Parker. In the comics rn they are actually all good with Peter parker. However, you’re right about the tone and brutality. This is the real venom in that sense. The character tho not so much

To show that it's not Spider-Man trying to save Harry, but Peter. Also I think the mask sort of retracted into his suit they just forgot

They Spiderman weak no matter what costume he has on. how can he be afraid of a tiger when hes 50x stronger than a man? and how is Venom bulky as a bodybuilder thats Brocks version not Harry.
