The back-and-forth chemistry you guys have is legendary. You’re like an old vaudeville team. It’s like it’s scripted but it’s all off-the-cuff and the setups and assists are all so natural.

This game is insanely good, and it was a lot of fun seeing you guys just giggling about it as you were kids again reading the comics. It is my game of the year as well, though I did not enjoy everything, like the Mary Jane stealth missions for example, but 90% of the game is a masterpiece. I platinumed it in less than a week that is how addictive it is.

You two have the best, most positive vibes on the internet, really enjoy you two together. Real friendship and camaraderie, old grizzled veterans of the KZfaq video game scene

I was born in 1989 and I grew up with Tobey Maguire Spider-Man movies and games. Now I remember there was 2 Spider-Man games for PS1, those 2 games came before Maguire's 2002 Spider-Man movie.

I'm currently playing through Spider-Man Remastered on PS5 for the first time and it's magnificent at 60fps. Cool little universe created. Almost finished with it, but I'll give the sequel some time to play after Sonic All Stars and Flatout 2 Ultimate Carnage 360...EDIT: Holy cow, after watching this whole video, I may play 2 right away!

This was funny to me. They got each other more and more worked up about the game and they got carried away. If it went on for ten mins longer they would have said they were going to get Spider-Man masks tattooed on their faces

This brings me back to watching Judgement Day after school.

At first im like wow john really keeps up with the breadth of experience that Victor Lucas has in the industry, but then I remember this is Johnny we are talking about. This guy literally trained his whole life for stuff like this.

Great review love it! You can also play the game in 40fps, when you set the 120HZ display mode on, if you have a 120HZ screen, wich is a pretty good middle ground between quality and performance mode.

I am so happy for anyone who loves the super hero genre, and can feel excited about these releases. I used to love Spider-Man, Batman, X-men and the like. Batman Beyond was the best thing after Toonami. I’m not saying that I “outgrew” the super hero genre at all. I’m not sure what it is, but I just can’t get excited for anything super hero related anymore. I recognize that they are very well done games. But I just wish all that money and talent would go into creating something new. Something like portal or half-life. Rock the gaming industry with innovation.

I think subtracting .5 points just because you didn't feel like it was long enough to deserve a 10 is silly. When a developer shows restraint and decides to focus on quality over quantity, that is a strength, not a weakness. I enjoyed the video and I respect your opinion but just my 2 cents.

I can’t wait to check this out, unfortunately I won’t be able to until Christmas time, as my grandparents asked me what I wanted for Christmas and I said this and Miles Morales which, I’ve played but, it was back in 2020 when it first came out I played the PS4 version not the PS5 version so, I’ll have to wait, the 2 month wait will be excruciatingly tough, as I’m so excited for this game, but until then, I have the original I’m playing to get used to the combat engine again before the sequel and I can read some comics to get more excited for the game that were inspirations for the game to tide me over until, I can get my hands on what is probably my most anticipated title of the last few years since, the original in 2018, was my personal favorite game that year over God of War 2018 which, I know was a lot of people’s GOTY that year but, I’m glad Spidey got game of the year over that, apparently since I’m playing the GOTY/Remastered edition with all DLC again now.

Rob, I feel that if you say you can go through the story quickly... that actually means you get so into the game that you forget how much time you are spending playing it... on normal... which is a casual setting and you are hardcore bro so Spider Man 2 is really a ten out of ten game in that regard. Also this makes you wonder how Wolverine is gonna be but also might make people wish that Sony had secured the Batman and Superman movie licenses decades ago and then the videogame licenses but that is wishful thinking as there are only so many devs to go around.

I don't like the web wings, glide,, ok. But now it's like he's flying. C'mon. Like the movies, pretty much trying to turn him into the next iron man. Miss the old web head. .. maybe I'm just getting old but I don't care for this new ideation.

My dream would be getting a Batman beyond or Spiderman 2099 with this type of game.

I am happy to read and hear that the story is mature and serious, Spider-man 2018 was very good but I kind of dislike Miles Morals because the story and his voice was really childish and stupid, also the main enemy was not appealing at all. So good that this has changed for the sequel.

The worst part of the game is that there are two different spider men. The story is not as good as it jumps all over in order to force Miles into a main role.

I think this is the only game that will give Tears of the Kingdom a run for Game of the Year.
