@@emoclowngirl I guess both Sony and the involved actors would like to pretend it never happened. And Sweeney's career is far more agile to take a hit by one flop. Remember both Chris Evans and Oscar Isaac featured in mediocre Marvel movies before landing into their now iconic MCU roles.

People clowned on Raimi Spider-Man and TASM for having grown men (26, 27) playing 18 year-old Peter. If we assume we've now caught up to the MCU timeline, there'll be a 28 year-old actor playing 20 year-old Peter. I want there to be a reference to Peter looking older than he is. Specifically, I want a reference to "he's just a man, no older than my friend Terry, we're the same age"

But there’s already an explanation that he missed 5 years of his life during the Blip. Also, the last 4-5 years of his life he has gone through so much awful things, bw it death of Uncle Ben and now May Parker as well, as well as death of his mentor Tony Stark, and the world and his dear ones forgetting about his identity - such experiences can make a person look more mature by 5-10 years easily.

Its funny I said this before that, right now Peter is supposed to be in his darkest state every he is by himself and alone and MJ is gone, so this is the prefect time for black cat and the prefect time for the symbiote suit. I also said I would hope they do HobGoblin in the future and do what the comics did with the whole thing being a mystery on who he is and ramp up the fact Peter has serious history with the Green Goblin.

As someone who has been following James Wan’s career since the release of Saw back in 2004, and while all of his films haven’t been profitable or even “good”, I would actually be very happy to see him do Spider-Man. Not only because I think he could bring a new flavour to the character with his fast cutting and stylistic directing style but also because it’s cool to see someone climb through the ranks and follow their career from a “nobody” to an in demand top director.

I actually feel a little awkward about Black Cat being in the movie. Mainly because this version of Peter Parker still feels very young. He’s an adult in real life, and now the character is as well as he’s in college. But it feels different. Like a young adult. Young adults sleep around, but in this movie universe, they seem pretty innocent. It would just feel weird seeing him go from what looks like such childish environments aside from the superhero stuff, to a sexually flirtatious villain/Anti-Hero. I don’t know, maybe if he were taller? lol

And i want the vfx and cgi to be like the ones they did with TASM universe you see the wrinkles in the suit of the 3d model then umm perfect muscles physics like those realistic muscle movements they had in those movies. Now as tom holland has his own homemade suit lets hope they don't mess up the digital aspects which would contribute to bring this movie in the theatres and in our heart.

I hope not the only reason the movies are semi good is because of the fact disney doesnt have them, the idea that these movies are a joint thing between sony and marvel make them not just another generic MCU film and have a distinctness the rest of the marvel films dont have, because if Disney owned it these films would be so damn generic and probably be just Cameo city like he is in the comics because he is the marvel mascot, he'd just be used to prop up other less popular characters like captain marvel or miss marvel, which is also what DC does with batman. Right now spiderman is in a good place he is by himself while not being by himself which is what everyone wants from a spiderman story.

@@Ytomany Like you said, Spider-Man is head boy at Marvel. So this way, his films would never be generic. And cameo city is more of a Sony thing nowadays. Sony is even more desperate and wants to make four a multiverse movie. But it clearly must be street. Disney wants street levels, Feige wants street level, Holland wants street level. And they’re close, but thanks to Sony there’s gonna be some multiverse element. And now with Madam Web, Sony is actively damaging Marvel. Disney needs to buy Spider-Man, make him a good new trilogy as an adult, and bring in Venom since he’s the only good part of that series (I actually really like Morbius but he won’t fit well in the MCU. Especially considering everyone hates him)

Where he helps James understand spiderman and some of the side characters, especially since he was a big part in nwh (outside of acting ) and was a big reason why it was the film we got , and is also a big supporter of spiderman 4 being way more grounded

My fear towards James Wan is the humor. I'm so tired of Spider-Man movies being turned into the average superhero comedy. There can be some camp and jokes, but I want a serious movie for the most part. That was the best out of 'Spider-Man - No Way Home', people say it was just fanservice, but the best scene of that movie was the loft fight sequence, where we see how vicious a villain can be towards the hero with Green Goblin literally wiping the floor with Spider-Man. They have to keep that up for the next trilogy.

@@Penguinzero1 idk if you mean just in general or for the studios. Mine isn't just a fan made script it's an actual full length 46 scene script I've been writing for the past few months😂. It's pointless but it's just practice for my actual writing. I've also been thinking about this much longer than Marvel and Sony have been thinking about it too I pretty much have an entire trilogy with Fisk planned.

if James Wan is confirmed to direct Spider-Man 4 then Patrick Wilson is likely would be part cast as he has worked with James Wan in the past including Aquaman and Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom just to name few but Patrick Wilson i can see him as Norman Osborn/Green Goblin or Dr. Curt Connors/The Lizard and i hope James Wan casts Jason Momoa as Kraven the Hunter

Anya Taylor-Joy is the one I see portraying Felicia Hardy/Black Cat in my imagination. I can definitely see the chemistry between Tom and Anya working in the franchise in my mind and out of the bloom, they are both British actors that can do American accents.

James Wan doing Spider-Man? My favourite current day horror movie director? (Insidious, Saw, The Conjuring, Dead Silence, Night Swim, M3GAN)… Spider-Man 4 is going to be the best if he does the 4th one! But if I have to be honest I’m more curious on how Tom Holland’s spider-man will befriend his old friends again after they forgot about him, if they do. Even though Tom Holland is my least favourite live-action Spider-Man, but he isn’t as bad compared to the Spider-Verse trilogy which I found so far extremely boring and overrated.

I don't think I would like black cat in spiderman 4. I did think it was a good idea at first, but after they confirmed zendaya was returning as mj for the 4th movie, I wouldn't want peter to date black cat while mj played by frickin ZENDAYA is in the background. That doesn't sound right to me. Just save black cat for spiderman 5! OOH! James wan for spiderman 4?! I LIKE THE SOUND OF THAT! 🤩
