They definitely didn't copy John Wick with it, its very similar but the comics has already done it way before John Wick came out. If you already knew that then I apologise for stating the obvious

For mysterious flying up next to Peter, my friend had a decent idea, that mysterious was already up there and a projector was making him seem invisible. That same projector makes mysterios costume fly up and sit where he is ( we see later that he can make the suit line up with his body) and the projector allowed his head to be revealed when the fish bowl rolls back

Interestingly enough, the camera might actually be tracking him. Watch the scene (kzfaq.info/get/bejne/Z7qKrMWAt76ng58.html) and from about 0:14, the camera could sort of track Mysterio (even though we can't see him) as he sneaks up behind Peter, then sits down so the fake version settles down alongside him... I didn't come up with this myself - saw it online somewhere that I can't remember where...

End Credit Spoiler: The big clue to the Skrull bit to me was when NF said "Don't invoke her name" when SM mentioned CM. I didn't understand it at the time, but it definitely stood out to me. I was wondering wtf he would respond that way.

It doesn't make sense to question whether Maria Hill has ever existed, because its' established in Captain Marvel that the Skrull only can shapeshift into people they've seen, so they have met Maria Hill at one point.

Yeah, his deepfake video was made from the footage where he had supposedly died so I suspect that he'd faked his own death and had Edith confirm it. Even then, if he'd died it wouldn't be much for his team to recreate him using holograms. But it'd be a shame if he was one-and-done considering he was really great.

What if Fury actually did 'die' from the sniper shot back in Winter Soldier, and was replaced by Talos on Earth then? The real Fury is then taken away and given the Tahiti treatment that Coulson received (but in space), hinted at by the beach hologram.

Cracked fired all it's good writers after being bought out a year prior. The videos were great and they've all gone off to do their own things. Some of them even started their own KZfaq channels that are doing well. I know people like to rip on them, but unlike Buzzfeed, they had talent.

Manolo Quintero that would be genius. That could also be a good origin for him as villain. He could maybe get his hands on the Iron Spider-Man suit just like in the comics and form the Sinister Six. They could maybe even set up Miles in it, have him become the second Spider-Man so the public becomes confused as to who the REAL spider-man is.

On the topic of "can you tell Fury is Talos on rewatches" there are hints. For instance when Peter meets with Fury and Mysterio the first time Fury refers to it as "our dimension", but only ever refers to Earth as "your world" when talking to Peter. He also gets defensive when Peter mentions Captain Marvel with his whole "Do NOT invoke her name" thing

The skrull ship is going to be the new avengers orbital base. They mention kree sleeper cells, which I suspect means they're going to say the kree have learned to shapeshift like the ultimate comics, so we can have secret invasion with the kree instead. Wonder if that technology could be used for the chameleon? I got the sense Fury was only being replaced while he went on vacation, so a few weeks at the most.

Spoiler I think that nick fury possibly switched out on various occasions. Skrulls are said to only know recent memories of who they turn into where in iron man 2 he tells tony about what his relationship with Howard stark before he died. Also in the winter soldier in an elevator scene with steve rogers he tells steve about his father. Things that talos wouldn’t know

SPOILERS: . . . My theory was that Maria Hill was always Soren the Skrull, and "Maria" was just the human persona she invented so she could always be by Fury's side. Fury can swap in and out with Talos depending on the situation, but it makes sense that she would be trusted implicitly by both of them and it's actually LESS complicated this way than it is having one of each Fury/Hill.

Then, after the mcu Spider-Man trilogy is wrapped Peter will be the leader of the young Avengers and that will be the next few team up movies that he'll mostly be the star of just like Tony in all the regular Avengers movies.

I have a theory for the explanation of where new villains in the follow up Spider-Man films will come from, on the topic tony stark being responsible for the villains Spider-Man has to deal with there could be a chance the September foundation which was funded by tony stark gives lots of new opportunities to inventions made, experiments gone wrong and all new explanations to villains origins

I did actually like this film though it was enjoyable, the first 3rd was a bit off but apart from that it was pretty good. feel like the writing was quite lazy: another Villain linked to tony stark and the focus on tony should have calmed down as the film went on. the glasses were almost a short cut for Peter figuring out situations for himself which is a wasted opportunity. @@lancedenis5585 Compared to most other iterations of Peter, there really aren't nearly as many direct consequences to his actions. He doesn't have it very hard.

I've been trying to figure out where the Mandarin fits into the other heroes' stories now that Stark is off the table, and I guess that Dr Strange is the most obvious choice? They might even make Mordo the new Mandarin, but I feel like that would be wasting two interesting character arcs by mashing them into one.
