My spider plants werr turning brown due to over exposure of sunlighttl. I moved the plant to a different place and now its's thriving.

In my experience, keeping a spider plant in the shade of other plants is the solution. It is not enough just to place them out of direct sun exposure or avoid over/underwatering.

From my experience, brown tips usually occur when you give your plants tap or hard water. Distilled water has worked great for my plants 🙂

I kinda didn’t know what they were till I saw this because my mom handed me some to take care of and propagate safe to say I need to put them in different water because tap water isn’t gonna work anymore

Can you tell me why i have so few shoots/stems for baby plants to grow on amongst the many leaves? I only see about 2 shoots on the large plant. I just bought the plant a couple months ago and don't really know spider plant care.

It's totally fine 😊 That was mineral contamination. This plant is sensitive to harsh minerals ( chloride, salts) that are contained in tap water. 🌱🌱🌱
