If u guys didn't know, let me give some more detail Peter thought the real Mary Jane died to the hands of Green Goblin after throwing her into a vortex of some sort. He thought MJ died just like that. Peter accepted that but then later on, he found Mary Jane just walking around the streets. She gets into trouble but Spiderman comes to save her. Spiderman admits his feelings towards MJ (because he didn't want the chance to slip again) but MJ said she was in love with Peter. He then revealed to her that he's Spiderman. Later on they got married and lived quite a long life. However, Hydroman (MJs ex boyfriend who was so fixated on her) came back after a long to take MJ with him once again. It's later revealed that the MJ that Peter married and had a whole life with was a duplicate, made up of the same structure as Hydroman. But before that, Hydroman also believed MJ died. However he didn't want to live in a world without her so he went to a scientist (who pretty much made Hydroman) to make a duplicate of MJ out of H20. The molecular structure doesn't last too long which is later revealed which cause the deaths of Hydroman and the MJ we just now saw die. This also means this entire time, the real MJ was just stuck in a spinning vortex. Spiderman was now determined to find the real MJ with the help of Madame Web (which was after his meeting with his creator, Stan Lee)

I just dropped in because this was recommended, but there’s NO WAY I’m going to actually listen to this. This scene broke me as a kid and gave me my first taste of existential dread. It’s a simple fact of life that everyone you love will die someday, but I never really felt it until I saw this episode. It stuck with me for weeks. Smiling felt like a chore for a while. People are so caught up with “cringe” these days. Everything is “cringe.” I was guilty of that too, for a while, but I’ve come to realize that that mindset is incredibly toxic. The truth of the matter is, life itself is hella cringe. Feelings are cringe. Yelling is cringe. Pain is cringe. Vulnerability is cringe. Everything is cringe. As far as I’m concerned, calling something “cringe” is an invalid criticism that only serves to expose how toxic you are. This isn’t cringe, it’s meaningful. Rant over.
