In Spider-Man 3, tobey’s Spider-Man tanked hits from Sandman in his giant mode, while he was been suffocated by Venom.

His suit is made of rubber and it was man made electricity, which is weaker than actual electricity. Meanwhile, Raimi Spidey was tanking a ridiculous amount of hits from both venom and sandman at the same time, and he also survived getting stabbed in no way home. (In the first movie, he also took one hell of a beating from green goblin.)
