They are 3 completely different Spidermen imo. They all bring their flavor. I grew up with Tobey as Spiderman, so it has a special place in my heart. Andrew knocked it out of the park, but that was also due to the great chemistry between him and Emma Stone(who is just so ridiculously good in the role. Tom, well I feel I'm too old to really feel invested in this genre anymore and can't really connect with that rendition. Tom is really great though, and I enjoy his acting talent and the physicality he brings to the role overall. It just plays too much of the MCU. Back then when we had very little live live-action superhero movies, we just had Spiderman. It was phenomenal. This began before Marvel began their projects. This is the real beginning of the live-action movies for Marvel as a whole. I never like Tom's version that much. He wanted to spread his wings and chase his personal desires more than the responsibilities. But he learns from the mistakes and successes of the other Peters and becomes the Spider-Man I know and love. That development made me cry. Andrew's is not bad at all, but Tobey Maguire's is what Spider-Man should be.

Tom’s the most accurate Spider-Man/ Peter Parker he’s more of a Spider-Man/ Peter Parker than Tobey and Andrew ever was. Tom’s Spider-Man was actually a friendly neighborhood Spider-Man, he fought off ATM robbers, he saved a cat from a fire, he save Mr.Delmar from a fire, he stopped someone stealing a bike, he tried his best to save everyone on the ferry, he fought the Vulture and both shockers for stealing and selling illegal weapons, he fought thugs in far from home extended cut, he saved his friends a bunch of times, first he saved his friends in Washington, then he saved Ned and Betty on the Ferris wheel, then he saved his friends again from Mysterio at the end of Far from home, then in No way home he saved his friends once again from the lizard, sandman and electro. In No way home Peter saves a whole family that was trapped in their car while he was in the middle of fighting Doc ock and he saves the women from MIT that was also trapped in her car. Not only he did all that but he saved Iron Man in Avengers: Infinity war when Cull Obsidian was about to hit Iron Man with his hammer but then Tom’s Spider-Man came in to save Tony. AND TOMS SPIDER-MAN ALSO HELP SAVE HALF OF LIFE IN THE UNIVERSE!!!!!! Not only Tom is a friendly neighborhood Spider-Man but he is also the most accurate interpretation of Peter Parker. He’s just a kid from queens, when he first appeared in civil war Peter was just 14 and already was able to create web shooters, the web fluid and was able to make his lenses move on his mask which Tobey and Andrew did not do. Tom’s by far the most smartest by making his web fluid and creating cures for the villains in NWH. Tom’s Peter was also on the academic decathlon team and he was the most smartest one out of all the students and he barely even attended do to being Spider-Man. Before anyone says Tom is an Iron boy jr, Tom’s Peter never wanted help from Tony Stark . In civil war he said he doesn’t want to go to Germany and has homework but he was forced into going by a billionaire, he never asked for any suits he just got them handed to him. He even told Ned how he is sick of being treated like a kid by Tony Stark, then when Karen tells Peter that he has all these different web combinations he tells her to go back to the normal one, intending he never liked how it has all these different features. He even says “Mr. Stark really went overboard.” Then in infinity war he got rid of the A.I and went back to how the suit was originally. Then in Far from home Happy tells Peter that he’ll never be Iron Man and Peter knows that he’ll never be Iron Man because he’s Spider Man. In No way home he loses Aunt May and before she dies she gives the iconic quote “With great power there must also come great responsibility.” After that he creates the greatest Spider-Man suit of all time and swings in New York City. Tom has been Spider-Man since Civil war but he was just a kid learning how to become the true Spider-Man. His first trilogy was actually his origin story as a teen in Highschool living a double life as a superhero and now his next trilogy will be Peter in his early adult years going to college and rebuilding his life. Tom is the true Spider-Man/Peter Parker and one day everyone will know Tom is and has always been the best Spider-Man/Peter Parker.

I love all the spider-men, but I agree with you. Tom Holland Spider-Man has the best development throughout the MCU. But I am also glad you listed some good attributes of the other's.

Holland is the perfect Spider-Man. Garfield was way too cool to play Parker and Maguire wasn't tough enough to play Spidey. Andrew was a heartbeat away from becoming the bully in the basketball scene with Flash. Tobey always looked like he was about to cry, not funny enough and talked too slow. Holland beats them both. Young, awkward, sarcastic, constantly fast talking to himself like he was trying to figure it all out just like the comics.

Tom’s Spider-man is confident, cocky, witty and charismatic but Tom’s Peter is younger, shy and awkward at times and he often doubts himself as Spider-man. Just like the comics Tom’s Spider-man teams up with other hero’s but fights with other hero’s like Captain America, Falcon, Giant man, Doctor Strange and he ghosted Nick Fury, hung up the phone on Iron man and then talked back to Iron man in Homecoming. He’s the smartest Peter when it comes to science and engineering. His morals are also the most comic accurate with wanting to save as much lives as he can including villains. He saved the Vultures life in Homecoming right after the Vulture tried to kill him, he tried his best to save the villains in No way home before it back fired on him. He also has the best and most comic accurate Spider-man suit (the final swing suit at the end of NWH.) I’ve been a die hard Spider-man fan for 15 years. Tobey felt more real, raw, and emotional, while keeping Peters goofiness. It felt like Spider-Man. His villains are also some of the best villains in any superhero movie, minus venom. Raimi also demonstrates Spider-Man’s signature traits much better. Tobey is constantly smacked around, but keeps going. His suit is torn to shreds and he’s almost always close to dying. But he never gives up. Finally, Tobey’s Peter shows empathy towards all of his villains, offering forgiveness even to his Uncles murderer. Andrew was an amazing actor with the wit and intelligence needed to be both Spider-Man and Peter. But the writing and basically everything else worked against him. Andrew carried the entirety of the Amazing Spider-Man movies, but one man can only do so much. Tom is great, but the high-tech element just doesn’t fit Spider-Man. They tried to make him a new Iron-Man, but that’s not what Spider-Man is. Their desire to implement him into the MCU really works against him. He also just feels like a normal student, not a wallflower. Tom’s Peter also doesn’t really show the same intelligence, keeping Ned around for the computer stuff. With all of his tech designed by Stark, he doesn’t feel like a struggling student. The nail in the coffin making Tobey the best Spider-Man? Aunt May is so sweet and perfect. I’m not a fan of Hot Aunt May and Andrews Aunt May doesn’t get enough screen time.
