Spiders in the Sahara! - Morocco VANLIFE

An invitation to celebrate the incoming New Year with friends in the Sahara Desert couldn't be missed BUT it was going to take a 10 hour road trip in the camper van across Morocco to make the date!
Camping at the foot of the Erg Chebbi sand dunes in Merzouga, it was the perfect backdrop for chilling with mates before New Years Day quad biking and sunset camel rides.
Gara Medouar is a worthy stop off (a unique location with spectacular views that's been seen in a number of big screen movies) before continuing to explore this incredibly diverse country.

There is an old Hotel/Pub in Marble Arch, London which used to have gallows adjacent. Prisoners were taken to the gallows (after a fair trial of course) to be hung. The horse drawn dray, carting the prisoner was accompanied by an armed guard, who would stop the dray outside the pub and ask the prisoner if he would like ''ONE LAST DRINK''. If he said YES it was referred to as ONE FOR THE ROAD If he declined, that prisoner was ON THE WAGON So there you go.

Amazing trip guys... A one for the Rd story, Lanshire witch style! As it was Lancaster. I recall him, not personally haha as being a quaker or preacher going to the gallows, he refused his last drink as being religious. They hung him and when he dropped the reprieve came in. If he'd of had the expresso in the 1600s he'd of survived 😂 His one for road was his downfall. Cheers for some great travels guys✌️🍻👍

Have it. Lindsay giving us glam on the road. You two are precious and wee little Bleu too. Many years ago a younger me was alleged to be in the desert of Libya serving my nation. Actually I was just planting markers in the sand used for communicating with jets about and pointing them towards targets. I hardly saw another living soul. Spiders? Hate em! Snakes aren't much better. Andy has gone full on Lawrence.

Great video, I love Morocco, been there several times on motorcycles. Merzouga and Erg Chebbi are so beautiful and I found the desert to be very calming. If you ever get the chance visit Chefchaouen a Berber town in the Riff mountains 👍 safe travels 🚐👍

Oh man, spiders. I was driving the van down to Cornwall last year, looked down and there was what looked like a false widow on my leg. Absolute pandemonium broke out at 60mph. Week later a rash from a bite the whole of my shin infected and 7 days of anti-biotics. Don't like spiders... Love these vlogs.
