Clearly Matpat is correct in Elsa being a supercooled liquid that can get as cold as it want's and won't freeze until a heavy enough impact forms bubbles allowing for the supercooled liquid to freeze.

Frozen 2 is frustrating because I can clearly see the concept for a great sequel but the team simply wasn’t given enough time to polish the script, so everything about the film feels undercooked. I’m actually glad a third movie is happening so that they can be given another chance to get it right.

That's how I feel. The idea of a land of nature spirit-connected people sounds huge, but it's so Elsa focused that the other stuff doesn't have time to breathe.

They changed everything within a few months & this film was suppose to be darker & mature until the screening audience of kids didn’t like that Anna or Elsa weren’t in the beginning scene. I hated that we didn’t get that scene of Anna grabbing Kristoffer sword to cut off whoever was behind them. When seeing that I thought of them from Once Upon A Time since David taught Anna how to use a sword

I like the idea that the movie script apparently had Elsa HEARING VOICES IN HER HEAD and the writers didn't work out why until the end of development. "What should Elsa's arc be?" "Uhh... She's schizophrenic, I dunno." Also, after "Let it Go," the song "Into the Unknown" is the SECOND time that Elsa is singing proudly during her bout of mental illness.

One major change that would've improved the film greatly, would be having Elsa go into the Enchanted Forest alone while the rest of the main cast take care of Arendelle. Once Olaf disappears, they go in to rescue her.

This movie did try to top the first one in many ways. Like how it involved the four elements Fire, Earth, Wind, and Water. Which is a great concept if you haven’t seen The Fifth Element, Avatar: The Last Airbender or Captain Planet. But aside from those, totally original concept.

The original story was better than them changing everything in 6 months. It does suck that the screening audience for the beginning of the film since it was dark & the parents being kids. The audience full of kids kept asking about Anna, Elsa & Olaf. Like Elsa was suppose to die & Arandelle would have been destroyed and Anna/Kristoff being engaged but called it off.

Although the script is a mess (I understand it's from the staff not being given enough time to develop this movie, which is quite unfortunate), the scene where Elsa tames the water spirit in the way that one would break a wild horse is clever. The water in this movie is gorgeous, so much so they actually had to tone down how realistic it looked from the trailer as to not make Elsa seem out of place.

You know what's even weirder? Thanks to that one cameo of Rapunzel and Eugine in the first movie, we have to assume that they share the same universe. Meaning that all the lore of the Rapunzel show is part of the Frozen lore! Meaning that there are wizards, alchemy, mermaids, and a kingdom made from an ancient powerful moonstone!

Heard from a family member of mine who worked for a clothing company in promotion of the movie, that apparently the film was put in production mainly because of the Disney corporation finding out how cool snowflake looked/or how cool their general designs would look on jackets, also they had no idea what the film's plot was or what it was gonna even be about🤷
