@@rolloffbroom of course I always try to help out where I can for education and awareness I’ve learned to deal and cope and also warn ahead of time so people around me are aware. Something to be mindful of though is every brain is different and every brain heals differently so some people may experience symptoms completely different than myself which is perfectly normal and valid unfortunately there no definitive one way answer for healing or for dealing. Some of the long term side effects I’ve experienced and have been told by others among the community are severe light sensitivity, pending on the damage done you could have either or both long term and short term memory loss/difficulties, I still have headaches rise and fall on my impact spot, I will often have a stutter if I’ve become overly stimulated, myself and others have experienced roller coaster brain (where you start on one topic someone interrupts or you go on a tangent and you have to go back and finish your point and will keep doing so until point is made), I personally cannot drive I blackout when put behind the wheel or on a bike, at first I had difficulty regulating my emotions and being able to verbally talk about them and there are times especially when the headaches are bad that I struggle with controlling my emotions and it’s those days I usually avoid people. When I fist had my accident I couldn’t remember anything and I had no ability to focus visually or mentally could barely communicate and had difficulty with my motor skills and hand eye coordination. So what my dad did was he saw that a tv show in the hospital had my attention and out of sheer habit asked me what the show was about I said I didn’t know but one of the characters was named dean. And the old lady I shared a room with had a spare set of ridiculously large knitting needles that she let me borrow and fiddle around with while watching the show so my dad when I was discharged bought the entire box set of supernatural and various gages of knitting needles and a couple 3d puzzles (those half the time were thrown into a wall and my dad would pick up the pieces and set them in the box and say “when you’re ready”) for 6 months it was classic movies and supernatural and he would randomly pause ask me what was happening what the characters were doing who they were and sometimes I remembered bug not often then one day we were about to start the routine and he was starting to loose hope I think and he popped in a disc we already watched and I looked over and said “dad we already watched this disc we’re on the other one” I’ve seen my dad cry very few times and that day was one he brought my mom into the room and asked me to describe what was on the disc I wasn’t able to recall a lot but that day was the turning point for me. Not everyone experiences the same level and not everyone has people around them willing to do everything they can to help them work through it and come out stronger. I don’t think Jeff should rebuild any relationships with the vlog squad (besides making amends if that will help him heal) but I’m shocked that none of the vlog squad has tried to disassociate with David at this point. Although he continues to make money, David’s career is over besides Snapchat. Once the lawsuit happens, his reputation will be permanently ruined beyond what little remains. Also David has more than once since post-vlog era showed how little he cares for his friends (I.e. laughing at Jason’s “small” house while not offering to help out at all, even though Jason is in that situation because of David). I truly don’t think David can ever be redeemed and so confused how the rest of the vlog squad doesn’t see that? Like if they tried to make amends with Jeff, they might get through the lawsuit unscathed but anyone who stays loyal to David is going to get burned with him in this lawsuit. The ethical and moral decision would be to support Jeff but I know they are all selfish. Either way though, it seems like an obvious career move to distance yourself from David.

There may be “just one guy” who hurt Jeff, but the rest of them all turned their backs and went with David. They are nit real friends, podcast guests at best.

I loved the latest episode of Jeff FM and seeing how mature adults should act when something crazy happens in their lives. It's weird when someone doesn't take accountability for their actions like Dobric is doing. We know David didn't do it on purpose, but he can say sorry for his part in all of this. The dynamic of this friend group has always been that Dobric was "boss" bc of his popularity and income. So when you have to sue "The Boss" for his actions and not accommodating good friends with any monetary value when you are financially able makes you look like the most heartless person on this planet.

Good on Jeff and if those two get called to testify it’s about to show if they truly are on Jeff’s side

"it would have been the same thing in reverse" or not. what jeff went through forever changed him. not just his body but his mental health as well. "I'm just doing to you what you would do to me" is a wild take considering how traumatic Jeff's experience was. I genuinely do not believe that if that other guy went through the same thing Jeff did, he wouldn't question him like that on the damn spot. just wild bro

Matt couldn't give much more fake a** energy if he tried 😂 the other guy seems pretty genuine.

all I’m saying is if my friend asked me to testify in court my only response would be “I’ll be there” not “eeeeee lemme check my schedule”

Jeff has red flags. And I like Jeff. I don't know Matt. But if I were in Matt's shoes I would feel like Jeff was only reaching out to me to be a witness for him.

Someone should ask David about what happened at the colored rooms party in Laurel Canyon all those years ago

This reminds me of that one video where the girl was explaining how her former bff was cheating on her bf and that’s why she wasn’t friends with her anymore. Loyalty doesn’t seem to be in Matt’s vocabulary. He doesn’t even have to “pick a side”, per se, but pick a position and stick to it. Either be on a side or don’t be on any sides. He’s flip flopping

When he underplays the comment made about Jeff’s eye at a party and says Jeff “should’ve expected” people to ask him questions…. It gave me the ick. They made it seem like Jeff was being overly sensitive when he almost lost his life. These two are not good people and are probably just trying to save their image.

He wasn’t saying anything about Matt’s wedding he was just saying how he would be at anyone’s given wedding

Their faces when he mentioned them potentially being at the deposition said A LOT. To quote RuPaul: "I can't wait to see how this turns out."

you definitely do not know Matt's and jeff's relationship that well. they at eachother back and forth, I dont think there was anything awkward about this pod. however i do agree, Matt saying that he is on Jeff's side 100% is a very telling piece of information on how he feels about the situation. Matt has never really been dependant on david or his content, like everyone else. so I doubt he'll be missing out on anything if david decides to not talk to matt again. I actually hope, that one by one, everyone comes to Jeff' side, and we are starting to see that.

Honestly, it seems real fake. like Mike seems genuine, but I think Matt is being really phony here which is really weird because that’s really not in his character

I think a lot of what is going on with Jeff is not trying to hold onto any negativity or toxic feelings. It’s like drinking poison and expecting the other person to d**. When you hold onto so much anger and resentment it can actually physically impact how your body heals and remembers trauma. I am speaking from my own experiences as well. He may never be “friends” with them but at least he can be friendly and maintain his boundaries.
