I have never felt so moved and pained from a song ever. The animation, the desperation in Bryce's voice, it's gut-wrenchingly beautiful. Vivziepop literally never misses. This continually makes me more excited and terrified for Full Moon.

Stolas is hands down my favorite character from Helluva Boss. He has such an amazing character development.

I love how Stolas's eyes are usually empty red voids, but when he shows intense emotion, like when he stood up to Stella, or here at the end as he's consumed by grief, he gains little pupils, it really helps you connect with him more and makes the moment more impactful

There was a poll awhile back that asked which series had better music, Hazbin or Helluva. I dont really think its a fair comparison. Hazbin is more like musical theatre, Helluva is more relevant to daily life. One is more showy and polished, but Helluva touches everything. Love, isolation, being trapped, and just straight awesomeness!

2:22 I don’t know why I don’t see more comments about this part, but the ghostly soft piano absolutely hits me with emotion. It’s the helplessness and fragility. It’s the fact that Stolas’ sings with that feeling of helplessness. He sings like Blitzø is the most fragile thing to him that he can’t get close enough to Blitzø to comfort him otherwise he’ll break, so all he can try to do is comfort with the softest voice he can manage. That’s what breaks me.

This video came out December 3rd. Five days later, I was engaged. 59 days later my dad died. Life has been insane. But I keep going and the love I have for this song is as strong as ever.

I love how Stolas knows how much it hurts Blitz to agree with contract, and that’s why he bought the asmodeous crystal for him to travel freely. That shows how much Stolas really cares about Blitz.

To think Stolas originally was just some horny owl and turned into such a beautiful and complex character amazes me to no end. This is a truly powerful song and it’s sung and animated perfectly to suit the character as a whole. Thank you for this masterpiece!!!

You know what I love most about the moon symbolism? The moon directly affects the tides. So even when Stolas falls into and starts sinking in the water, the moon is still affecting him, even though it’s so far away.

This is the kind of thing that made me fall in love with Helluva Boss… this is what made me willing to put up with all the sex jokes (which _as a fan of the series_ I can say are hit or miss) and the gore. Just the raw, unfiltered EMOTION. In my opinion, this is the show at its absolute best.

Bryce's voice is simply incredible, he totally conveys the pain that the character is feeling, that's really admirable. The totally fluid animation is worthy of a lot of applause to the animators!! the melody, instrumental of the song is very exciting. I cried listening to this. Thank you for making the song canon!! Imagine an animator from the 1920’s watching this and seeing how far art has come. Bryce knocked it out of the park again. The animation is amazingly smooth, and the visuals are stunning. I hope that the fan who wrote the song is having the best time ever, knowing that their beautiful song inspired this.

The lyric changes from the original song just make this so much more painful and emotional - we see that stolas doesnt just treat Blitzo as his "impish plaything" but as his dearest, The voicecracks full of pain are so powerful and expressive. So glad Paranoid DJ got to have this song animated. Was in tears when i saw this for the first time. I absolutely love that Stolas sees Blitzo as vulnerable and acknowledges that hes in pain and puts his walls up but hes still trying to fight to show him he loves him and he yearns for him. Cant express how gorgeous everything about this video is.

All respect to the original, as it's phenomenal on its own, But I can't help but fall in love the improved production quality. Some of the emotion from "Unless it's me.." was weakened a little bit, but in context it makes sense. But the one line that did hit extra hard was "I'll save us both before we grow cold. " In the original song, this lyric is a bit more minute, but in this version, knowing where the story is likely headed, it's DEVASTATING! And I LOVE it! It's basically saying in this song that, by giving him the Crystal, Stolas is saving Blitzø from a perceived selfish obligation just to keep himself in business, and Stolas will be saved in that he won't be stuck in a relationship that will only get worse if Blitzø is truly not in love with him. PURE POETRY! I LOVE IT!

There is just something so soft and real about Stolas calling Blitz 'Dearest'... no silly/annoying pet name... jusy raw emotion... gets me every time and such a good addition to a song I have already loved for a long time. Didn't know I needed this today but I truly did...

This is my first time listening to this. Even with how long it been out. All I have to say is that I am crying. The vocals are the most beautiful I’ve ever heard and the animation warms my heart.
