A people that have been subjected to oppression tend to use music to express themselves and as a get away place from the oppression, look at our African brethren in the U.S., their gospel music ia on another level, it stems from a culture passed on from the slave days where slaves would use music at night as an escape from their day time realities of slavery in the cotton and sugarcane fields. As a result of this they went on and founded Soul music and later on Jazz and RnB.

I swear i love south africans the way they hype JESUS, its so beautiful. I am west african and i say categorically no other country on the planet beats South Africa when it comes to Praise and Worship - I am so addicted to yall songs and videos. I will pay anything to see Spirit Tunez live in concert than to go some a beyonce concert. This is a million times better. The day the trumpet is blown and Jesus is coming i nominate South Africa - to be the opening Group. Its going to be so LIT - are you ready? i know i am.

I'm a Baptist by denomination but I wouldn't mind watching and practicing the South African style of praise. It brings chill out of my body. I practice and teach my choir some of these songs and the day we're administering, the whole church goes wide, and I'm commonly called the Liberian -South African boy. I'm in deep love with the South African's praise. They bring the songs close to our values and musical tastes. We are not Americans or anyone else, but Africans. 😢 Oh how I wish I could one day see these people live!

Am a Kenyan and what i would like to observe is that our SA brothers and sisters in faith got that secrete of what it takes to bring the heavens down.I dont understand anything in all the songs that they sing but i get blessed and forever carried away in spirit..yeah my spirit agrees.They have ,they carry and they are with GOD. Something strange is that out of the 1,276 songs i have in my cellphone 1,230 are South African praise and worship songs. You guys are a blessed blessing to many.I salute,honor,appreciate and celebrate you for resolving to be used of GOD in such a mighty heavenly bound manner.Long live SOUTH AFRICA .I Love you.God bless.
