That is in forward. The rear of the ship throws wake, and the front of most boats but especially most racing boats is a pointed bow or catamaran hull. Not many boats can go that fast in reverse gear, the motors are geared to go a lot slower than 200+mph in reverse. If you did that in reverse and turned, the boat would flip

A turbine engine is naturally aspirated. It's an internal combustion engine whose intake of air depends upon atmospheric pressure. :)

A turbine engine is basically a huge turbocharger compressing air into the combustion chamber, thats why its called a TURBOJET ENGINE. On a turbine engine the pressure at the compressor outlet can be upwards of 180PSI, much more than any turbocharger or super charger could hope to produce.

@@hoedemakerbart They are the most powerful engines. All of the fastest race boats are turbines. Unlike the silly V8 contraptions with superchargers, turbo, these turbine engines are designed to just run at 100% power all day long.

I mean throttle down is basicaly all u gotta do on a calm day. Now keeping track of all your gauges is another story.
