One beautiful fall morning my friends and I woke up early to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and went up north to the beautiful Harriman State Park for a dose of throttle therapy. It was a glorious day!

That looked like a really good road to ride on and so beautiful with the trees. You’re a really considerate rider, I so respect that it’s a shame not every rider is. I’m not always the fastest rider and although some riders take it wrong when they are passed, it doesn’t bother me I just want everyone to have a safe and fun ride.

I know it’s nice to attack those twisties, but sometimes you have to take it slower and just enjoy the views. I hope you told your buddy to tuck his foot in, because that’s a good way to snap an ankle. Ride safe dude.

Question for you, how is the Ducati S2R for city riding and as a beginner bike? I've heard it's bad for both but would like a first hand opinion, cheers.

FunWithAJ Yeah, I dont think it's a good first bike. The clutch is hard to modulate and it's very grabby and the engine has a lot of character which can be intimidating for a beginner - engine power is manageable tho. City riding it's not horrible but once again the dry clutch is not happy at slow speeds and in constant stop and go traffic. I think a S2R 800 with the wet clutch is a better bike for city riding and a responsible beginner rider.
