I'm trying to incorporate this truth in my life now while pregnant. I do recognise that I'm fully dependent on God's mercy to go through my pregnancy safely, and also that the pains I feel now are the consequences of collective sin. Lord Jesus Christ, Son of the Living God, have mercy on me a sinner and help me to have faith on Your love and kindness while I endure the pains of my pregnancy. May Your love be my consolation during childbirth. Kyrie Eleison

I am not orthodoxy for I was raised in a Italian catholic family but I feel orthodoxy calling to me. O Lord, Jesus Christ, son of God, have mercy on me, a sinner.

Father, I am a young woman from Northern Ireland. By God's grace for a couple of years my faith and scriptural understanding have been coming back to me and growing. I have been reading the Bible, listening to preachers, teachers and sermons, my prayers have increased, my tears have increased and the grip of sinful habits weakened, I am grateful for all of this but my spiritual resolve is not as strong as it might be. I still feel without a Church. I was raised Presbyterian, my family attended Church every Sunday but have not attended together regularly for a decade. I know of one Eastern Orthodox church near me, and I am hesitant to go even though I want to. I don't know if I have appropriate dress, or how to cover myself. Or if I would be welcome culturally. I will be going alone and the Church is not really nearby. The Christianity I have seen in the Orthodox Church teaching just seems so correct, and blessedly far removed from politics. I still have some sort of paralysis. Some fear of changing from the Church I was raised in, there is comfort in what is known. I know I need advice and a Christian community, I feel a need for instruction and confession, and to take communion. My usual Church has no framework for confession. Apologies if this message seems scrambled or scattered or overly wordy. If you see this Father please give me some advice. I can't be an embodied Christian without other Christians or a regular Church and I feel isolated. None of my young friends are openly Christian, and my family is in a long period of confusion that I find also to be isolating. Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on me, a sinner...

I am an English conservative, evangelical, protestant Christian. It is good to hear such teaching, explained so clearly. Although I am in a different branch of Christ's Church, which contains all committed believers, this interpretation of Holy Scripture, is very familiar to me. Christ Our Saviour, is the undisputed head of our Church. All glory be to Him, unto time eternal !

O Eternal God, King of every creature, Who hast enabled me to attain to this hour, forgive me the sins which I have committed this day by thought, word and deed. Cleanse my humble soul, O Lord, from every defilement of flesh and spirit. Grant me, O Lord, to pass through the sleep of this night in peace, that I may rise from my humble bed and please Thy most Holy Name all the days of my life, vanquishing the enemies both fleshly and bodiless that contend against me. Deliver me from vain thoughts that defile me, O Lord, and from evil desires. For Thine is the Kingdom, and the power, and the glory: of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, now and ever and unto ages of ages. Amen.
