Really pissed he and McLean got let go by Sportsnet. I stopped listening to that show. Also very classy that he gave the truck to his dad. That’s a mans man!!!

I met Nick's dad recently he's had some health issues. But great guy...humble..he was wearing a Sportsnet hat. N I said do u know someone who works there?...he's like. My son ..wits his name I say.nick he says,lol...in front of camera or behind?...in front.....u get picture,.....anyway I chatted with him for an hour while I did my job....he complimented me on gd job n I felt great rest of the day......he's a gd man...period

Unbelievable that Sportsnet literally got rid of every analyst or host I like other than Elliotte Friedman and Jeff Marek. Shannon, Kypreos, Cherry, and Doug MacLean being gone is awful to a point where I skip all intermissions now.

Kyp is the rare player to become an enforcer IN the NHL. Highest pim season was 112 before the NHL.

One of the KZfaq hockey channels should do a “top unintentional gm mistakes” video. Specifically, like the one that Philly made when they lost Kypreos. Tried to find a list online and can’t find anything or can’t recall a time when a gm did. Any more stories like this on these interviews?

Was at the 2014 Mem Cup in London, Kipper was doing the Sportsnet thing, I came out of the restroom, looking down at my phone like an idiot, I'm 5'8" and 200 lbs., and I "bumped" into some clown that just about dropped me with incidental contact, that was wearing a suit and tie, it was Kipper! He said sorry, but man, he was solid! Good times! Great guy!

Real story: In 1983-84, there were three players you pretended to be if you were a kid growing up in North Bay, Ontario. Gretz. Vaive. Kypreos.

I grew up in The Bay, remember Kypreos and Dave McIlwain were the best players but I think that was later in yhe 80s wasn’t it? The year they lost to the Generals, I remember going to every home game that year.

I've never heard one person left on HNIC/Sportsnet say a negative things about the leafs, Kypreos said management should be held accountable for the continued failure. Sportsnet owning the Leafs yet people wonder why they fired everyone with character and a opinion of their own.

Alright I think I speak for all the aggresive drinkers here. Fuckin love Biz, his barber needs a talking to, but Biz seems like A great guy. The second the words "Helps you with a hangover" were uttered, I was sold on the product. Looked it up n shit. No need for a 1 minute Biz commercial.

Sportsnet sucks Friedman with that Saddam Hussein look alike beard. Really stupid look. Fired kipper, doug maclean and my all time favourite guy Don cherry. Friedman how do you keep your job when they fire a guy like kipper who one day will be a sportscaster superstar. Kipper is that good.

Hey man this is hockey talk so leave trump and all your hateful thoughts out of what hockey is all about. Kipper is a real deal sportscaster and most times this guy is right on. Kipper is a way better sportscaster than he was a player and he was a pretty decent player. Bye.
