I think its because the game wouldn't be able to remember which and how many Color Chips you got for the final battle. For the first phase anyway.

Can easily imagine this being recreated for a live version where Off the hooks bout to head off then the audience begins either clapping or stomping the rhythm just like in the cutscene between phase 1 and 2.

6:20 I actually started crying. I just love Splatoon so much, and the fact that Side Order is the end of the Splatoon franchise just is heart-breaking for me. Especially when they released Inkopolis Square in Splatoon 3, it's just all those nostalgic memories came crashing down.

it isn’t, they said this is the end of the current story line but not the franchise as a whole. Dw splatoon is Like on the same Level as Pokémon (almost, like take this with a grain of salt.) in Japan. So it wouldn’t be a good idea from a business standpoint to end the series.

I hate that I will probably never finish Side Order. Especially since it is the first Splatoon game I've played for the entire life span of the game. I did start with Splatoon 2, but not until Octo Expansion had come out. And I am sorry, but I just cannot stand the gameplay for side order campaign. I wish they hadn't went away from Octo Expansion/and Splat 3 campaign. I just don't like Salmon Run gameplay, which is basically what it is. And it isn't just Salmon Run, but all shooting games zombie mods which Salmon Run is probably inspired by. You are forced to do the harder stuff and if you just have terrible RNG, well then you are just kinda screwed and have to restart. So thank you for posting this.

While the DLC final boss was better in the last DLC, the theme of THIS final boss was better.

ok the pearlina side of my brain is going haywire so dont click read more if u hate pearlina but this ending BANGED dude its so good anyways my friend informed me that it was not acht saying "pearl, i..." at 6:04 and it was actually marina, i thought it was acht bc the screen was on them and i thought it made their voice clip idk and my friend. my friend said theres a chance marina was gonna say she loves pearl. im. i love these lesbians so much dude they give me the Happy chemical!! :3
