Yeah, in hindsight I definitely should’ve at least mentioned it. I actually didn’t play Splat 1 in its prime, and since these videos usually touch more on my personal experiences with weapons, I wasn’t sure if I should include S1 damage up bamboo since I didn’t experience it firsthand. From what I hear, it was a little less oppressive since defense up was also a thing. Next time I need to talk about S1, I’ll probably ask one of my friends for their experiences with it so I can actually include it :) Thank for for stopping by and watching!! :D

Slosher deco is CRAAAZY. I initially recoiled when the kit was first announced, but once I actually got to playing it? It’s seriously like a dream. Zipcaster especially as it allows for you to take some weird angles behind walls. It sounded terrible in concept, but was great to experience. Truly the Hawaiian pizza of sloshers xD

Yeah, it’s definitely less varied than 2… but there is sort of a glimmer of hope! Snipewriter is starting to see lots of use at top level, killer wail just got a buff so bamboo is will(hopefully) see more use, and squiffer is regarded by a lot of top players as a fantastic main weapon that’s held back by its kit, so all we really need is new squiffer xD I think the future of chargers looks bright!!

That is a very real possibility… but for some reason, nintendo REALLY loves putting a ton of different subs on bamboozler specifically(I think it’s had like 7 or 8 unique subs over the years??) so it’s possible they’ll try something new with it instead of falling back on mist. Even if it does, we’re still likely to get an Mk III variant so the boozler nation should be chillin ;D

@@SplashPanda Bamboozler has had Splashwall, Curling Bomb, Auto Bomb, Disruptor, Toxic Mist, Burst Bomb and Fizzy Bomb, also upon further reflection Toxic Mist really isn't that bad for Bamboozler thanks to it's fast charge time and constant range the only issue is that Toxic Mist is still kinda expensive for how meh the effect is with it using 60% of your ink tank

It is super hard in the beginning, but with enough aim practice in the testing room and just trying it out during matches, you’ll get there in no time! :) I plan to cover all weapons in the future, and splatlings are my second favorite class, so stay tuned ;)

Very true! I probably should’ve touched on that and mentioned that it’s really only effective if you use it at a time when it’s most inconvenient for the enemy team to react to, sorta like tenta missiles. Both specials can be super oppressive if used well, but not so much if everyone is spread out and able to just dodge them. Thanks for stopping by and commenting! :D

Also I have a funny story related to hating gootuber. When the custom gootuber came out and I was talking about how annoyed I was that we didn't get any other charger kit with my friends, they were saying as a joke "no you have to use it, it's so good". So while we were doing drop-ins with a big group I did that, and I went "okay, the moment I lose, I'm switching". But then I just... didn't lose. Over and over again no matter which team I was on, I won with the gootuber, even in matches where we were losing the entire time my team would always make a comeback somehow, and eventually I'm basically accusing my friends of letting me win so I have to keep playing the gootuber. This goes on for like ten games, like it was actually so absurd. And when at last I finally lose a game and am free from my torment, _my team lost that game by exactly 0.1p_ And now whenever we're on a losing streak, my friends suggest that I play gootuber because it's "the best weapon"

YES!! You finally see the true power of custom goo tuber!! It doesn’t matter if the main weapon is regarded as completely unusable by some people, it is genuinely one of the most fun weapons in the game and can be DEVASTATINGLY powerful in the hands of someone who know how to make use of the gimmicks of the weapon well. @@SplashPanda it's so dumb how good it's kit is (which makes sense cause fizzy bomb was amazing on bamboo back in 2). Like I just have all the tools I could ever want, a fizzy for long distance pressure, a special to force my way in and also a gootuber. I'd like it so much more if it didn't mean that gootuber got two of the best combo subs in the game instead of bamboozler, lol

That’s exactly it!! Not to sound like a hipster or anything, but custom goo is wayyy more fun to me than the regular one xD I know the vanilla goo has missiles(which is widely regarded as one of the best specials), but fizzy/stamp just really seals the fun factor for me. It is kinda sad that bamboo didn’t get either of those, but here’s to hoping it can maybe get burst bomb(and if not that, then I guess I’ll accept angle shooter xD)

Thank you!! I believe that most of, if not all the weapons can be used well in casual play, so I try to give some praise to even the least looked upon weapons ;) After Chargers, I’m currently thinking Splatlings, but that all depends on if I don’t have other ideas in the meantime. Stay tuned! XD

Ohhhh I actually hadn’t considered that!! I can see how autobombs would work better on maps like that, and the lethality is much better for enemy movement manipulation than something like burst. I think they’d both work well, but I totally see why some would prefer auto to burst :) Thank you for stopping by!!

Very interesting observation, actually! :0 A lot of charging weapons(splatlings, stringers, some chargers) like to use run speed due to how they spend so much time on the ground charging their weapon, helps keep them less vulnerable :) Heck, I think Splat Charger and E-liters would use more run speed if they didn’t have to dedicate so many ability slots to ink saver. @@SplashPanda Splatterscopes did occasionally run a bit of RSU in Splatoon 1 for better peeking, actually. Unfortunately effects of RSU were heavily nerfed in Spla2n onwards, making it impractical for anything with less than 0.6-ish strafe, and big chargers dip their average well below that when charging fully.

Wooooow, you have quite the unconventional set of mains! :0 It’s hard to make a lot of those weapons work(for me, octobrush is wayyy too hard to get the proper hang of XD) so kudos to you!! The main reason damage up bamboo wasnt an issue in splatoon 1 is because a lot of people always ran a little bit of defense up to counter it, so it wasn’t nearly as oppressive. Still somewhat overpowered, but not as bad. :)
