Its been on hold for a while now. My buddy wants to paint it but its not getting done. I started working on my own stuff in the meantime.

@@AndyFromm ok I'll keep my eyes on watch. I have the same rig but mines got a Perkins and its been a great tractor over the years.

The rear axle, transmission, hydraulics, ect call for case ih hy-tran. I believe most hydraulic oils are basically 10w30 with anti foam and other additives. It may depend on manufacturer but construction equipment gets 10w30 engine oil with added additives so the service truck doesn't need a who bunch of different bulk oils.

I mean actual engine crankcase oil weight is what im trying to find out. I like running the travler brand hyd oil it's like you said 10 30 with additives and claims to meat the hytrans spec.

@@timberwolf1996 manufacturers will have recommendations based off ambient temperature. As far as what everyone personally runs has seemed to become somewhat taboo to discuss. All around light use oil, I'd say 10w30/30w would be fine in the spring through fall If its going to get worked hard, 15w40. I personally have been running 5w40 synthetic in all my diesel pickups/semis/tractors for years, year round.
