The guy is juvenile, this kind of bad writing who takes itself so seriously... @@daou444 Everyone gets the cut scene when the conditions are met on the online servers. However it turns out every single time the cut scene triggered by accident except one time when it was hackers. You didn't actually fullfil the conditions.

The part I find the saddest is that immediately after the marvel that was that cutscene played someone developed a nuke.

@@fenris91 keep in mind true disarmament is impossible due to how broken their servers are. some of the counted nukes by the servers don't exist anymore. they're on deleted saves, deleted accounts or accounts that don't even have an FOB but got a nuke through save transfers. thanks to konami true disarmament is forever impossible. so to me the man's a hero

It's actually been proven to be impossible do to some sort of glitch that py think causes banned players nukes to count toward server nukes but they still can't be invaded. Literally ever nuke on the entire platform has to be gone for this to work. Please spend 5 minutes fucking it instead of arguing over something that's so obvious.

+reyco1987 First, the condition of triggering it is nigh impossible (zero online nukes) but second it ties into the original Metal Gear games. In it the games story states that all nukes around the world have been disarmed. Meaning this ending shows Venom's contribution to the original story.

I don't know of any time in the MG timeline where there aren't any nukes in the world...But even with that, I don't think this "ending" is profound enough for people to get all entitled about it.

I think the impossible nature of this ending is supposed to imply it's ultimately non-canon, and even if it were, eventually the pursuit to maintain a world free of nukes would wear out Venom and BB to the point that they take matters into their own hands.

The MGS wikia confirms TX-55 was armed with 2 nuclear ICBMS, and Metal Gear D was armed with 6 short-to-medium-range nuclear missiles
