Safety is a top priority for firefighters across the country; they constantly look for the best equipment and newest technology to help them do their job. Now one Spokane firefighter believes he's improved on the most basic firefighter tool, the ax. KXLY4's Aaron Luna reports.

$2000 for a gallon of water... well you need water to live so you better pay -_- the cost of material time and labour are way below what any purchase price is because the people making a product are greedy. but its also the dumb fucks paying that much in the first place that are feeding the fire, making it even worse

The only thing that's really a limiting factor is the departments budget. Other than that, no price is too great for a tool that could save your own life or someone else's

I hope to wear a "fire hat" someday, but would be proud to don an "inventor's apron" if life takes me that way too. Maybe I could turn either in for a reporter's feather boa.

Only problem I see is the material it's made out of. Won't last very long, handle WILL get hot, and could break. Great design though.

Scheint praktischer in allen Wegen zu sein, aber mir gefällt der Griff nicht... meiner Meinung nach sollte es ein einzeles Stück Stahl sein, wegen der Stabilität. Aber eine Oldschool feueraxt ist immer noch das beste meiner Meinung nach.

I believe it is to prevent vehicles from moving if they were in a motor vehicle accident so if they need to do some thing like use the jaws of life for example the car won't move anywhere
