Best freakin' joke ever...all this time they're afraid of some normal guy with a spatula for a hand and they have an actual vampire living in the Krusty Krab and that's the most normal thing ever to them 😂🤣😂

Ending the most iconic episode with a joke literally no child could understand and few adults either

Apparently according to the spongebob encyclopedia, nosferatu is a Krusty Krab employee who is the night shift manager

I really liked this as a kid and now too, because the fear of a monster came true but it turns out it was a nice monster.

This is without a doubt the weirdest crossover to ever happen.

Remember being seven years old and laughing at this scene but on the inside being like "who the fuck is Nosferatu?"

The word “Nosferatu” means “vampire”. The 1922 Nosferatu film was based on the Bram Stoker’s Dracula novel, so the change(s) of the term “Nosferatu” and the character “Count Orlock” were chosen to avoid confusion with the book’s terms and the character, and to avoid copyright issues. These copyright issues was also the reason why the film was originally never released in America and only in Germany. However, it did end up being a victim of copyright, and a court ruled all copies be destroyed! However, a few copies survived, and today, the movie Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror, is known as one of the best and most influential horror films of all time :D

When I first saw this, I totally thought that they were saying "No's for Ratu" like the character's name was Ratu and they were giving him "No"s, like he was an unruly puppy they were saying no to for flipping the lightswitch. I'd never heard of a Nosferatu!

This never scared me as a kid, I just figured it was a reference I didn't get

I love how they wrote this episode and planned it out so that all the weird stuff would have an explanation by the end only to purposefully leave out an explanation for the light thing so they could bring it up and make a joke about 1920s silent movie vampire Nosferatu living in the Krusty Krab like he's just some guy

I always found Nosferatu so wholesome.
