After receiving tremendous response for my previous video on spontaneous generation, we thought of remaking this video with minor corrections in the script and with improved illustrations. Hope this gives you a better experience than the previous one.
PS: This video is not a continuous video to the previous one and hence, does not contain any additional content that it had.

Thank you! It's very clear! I have a question though. What's the difference between George & Theodor's experiment and Pasteur's S-neck experiment? They all sort of blocked the germs to get inside and allowed air in. Why was Pasteur's experiment a benchmark?

In the Pasteur’s experiment, there was no barrier between air and broth, which was not the case with George and Theodor’s experiment. They had barriers like heat and cotton wool between environment and broth. Pasteur demonstrated that even the air could enter the flask, the dust was accumulating at the curve of the neck. As soon as he broke it the broth had shown contamination. And there were no questions asked later. That’s why it has become a benchmark. This is just my opinion.
