Quickly becoming one of my favorite tanks. It's like a faster, better armored Pz.IV F/G. I even like the Turan II for low-tier fun.

Turan III reserse speech is extremely comedic. I reverse out of the view of an m24 after getting my breech blown out faster than they could catch me.

Real shit, normally I get maybe aprund 2-3 kills per spawn but with Turan III is I get around 5

Turan I feels Like a Low Tier mbt

I actually drive it is-2 style back end forward because otherwise its a ez 1 shot but with the engine soaking up the shot you can extend your life considerably

I learned that the hard way in the Hungarian version.

@@corsairsofnarshaddaa I immidiately tried if it's actually amphibious...knowing Gaijin's history with amphibious tanks....well it wasn't and i drowned like an idiot because rivers in Warthunder are actual portals to another dimensions

AML90 is my favourite tank, really good french vehicle. Also ELC bis, Lorraine 40t and AMX-13 (&90), beside them hightier is absolute trash I would only play 5.3 and 7.3

Well, he got screwed by the damage model. The little storage box above the tracks ate the shot before it could hit the top of the hull.

It also has a turret made of plastic despite the near-impenetrable glacis. It's very funny.

its actually pretty funny how the mantlet, which is ideally the best Armored portion of the vehicle, is a weak spot. unlike most tanks theres a huge gap between the breech and outline of the mantlet so more often than not youll one shot the tank through APHE or hitting the ammo

probably the effect of youtubers playing a vehicle or frequency illusion

Of course the HEATFS would make it good. It's almost like putting more very undertiered heatslingers in the game would make them very good.

@daskollektiv4593 If the HE in WT actually worked like it was supposed to. The HE would indeed be the best round. Because hitting a track or not. That much explosive power would turn a crew to jelly. In War Thunder, a machine gun can eat an entire HE round. But 100mm+ (Cause I forget the exact. Size.) With a HEATFS dart is gonna absolutely destroy what it hits.

​@@aiedenoldstien9751 "With a HEATFS dart is gonna absolutely destroy what it hits." is alot of words just to say you havent tried heat or if you have then you must be lucky and/or oblivious. caliber doesnt affect heat damage at all and neither does explosive mass(in terms of heat damage/spall.), it only affects pen. and even then gaijin artificially nerfs heat alot of the time, from 650mm or 680mm(i dont remember exact numbers) to 440mm and 480mm pen for 125mm and 120mm guns. heat damage is the second most inconsistent damage in the game next to hesh, heat gets the inconsistency of solid shot without the pro of being caliber based, spall can randomly not be generated or be absorbed by fuel tanks or equipment while unlike solid shot it'll still make the same "beam of pen" without any diameter regardless of caliber. and like with hesh, netcode can mean the heat jet will sometimes detonate early and be unable to pen what should have been wet cardboard to it. i find this happens alot with turret desync, edges of mantlets and turret cheeks.

Which it's sad because the mode is called ground and more people play planes. What makes it even worse is that they're gonna tell you that it is a skill issue when tanks aren't meant to fight aircraft. The other thing that hurts this game on that front is that Gajin decided to literally give every fighter bombs so they could be effectively used in ground.

Probably because fighters (even only plane on plane) is significantly more fun in grb.

@@ilikeships9333 Of course. Cause Gajin makes the travel time much shorter because the mode is supposed to be about tanks. If Gajin actually took out the planes or had a separate mode. It'd actually be much more fun to play tanks.

Driving the 2S1 was the most fun I had in the army (or in my life tbh) and I'm sad I won't get to hear and feel that turbocharged YaMZ-238 probably ever again.

Other than having no armor, this one is better, quicker reload with a better heat shell and a better proxy at a lower br

but you can get this one in Italian tree too.

Same bro. I thought I'd hate it since it's HE can't overpressure consistently on medium to well armored tanks..but once I got the HEATFS man just one center shot on anything within its BR is a guaranteed one shot. It's heavenly.

They cant tank 5 shells from an IS1 and IS2 to the front so I doubt they are well armored tanks
