5:55 Her son was Dexter the exterminator from a few episodes ago (Spooky Month 3), who died after being possessed by Moloch, aka the demon that’s been in every episode so far after being summoned in the very first spooky month. Dexter did come back at one point, as he was the one possessing the happy fella in Spooky Month 4, which you can tell from his eyes (one black pupil and one outlined white pupil). I feel bad for Dexter’s mother, but then again… he kills cats and gets off at catching pests. “With this (mouse trap) I will be able to satisfy my needs!” - Dexter Edit: I recently found out Dexter could very well be alive, as the end scene of the spider picking back up the mannequin shows a bucket filled with ashes from the happy fella (or fellas since there were 2) that Dexter possessed was stored up in the attic. *His eyes still fucking move.* Edit Edit: Another thing that shows Dexter as the possessed happy fella was because he went out of his way to try and kill a cat, along with yelling at Lila to get Skid a cat… most likely because he wanted to kill it, and remember that Dexter said himself he kills cats.

- Okay, to recap, Dexter Erotoph the exterminator was called in during Ep3: Unwanted Guest to handle what Lila thought was a rat in the attic - but it was actually Moloch, who possessed Dexter to get out of the ouija board he was summoned from. He seemed to have died when Pump dared him to turn his head, breaking the mutated Dexter's neck. Patty has been examining this mutated corpse ever since, though Moloch was still alive in it. He finally made his move by moving from Dexter's corpse to Patty. - Going by the Candy Club's calendar, this takes place in November - or "hangover Spooky Month", as Pump described. - Father Gregor gives off genuine dad energy while supervising Skid and Pump - telling them to not run too recklessly, to not make wild assumptions of others, to not eat too much candy, to not take rides from suspicious sorts, to not go into places without permission, etc. - Heh, Pump had to correct Skid that the Happy Fella costume employee isn't the possessed Happy Fella. He also remembered that Moloch didn't "escape" Skid's house. - In the Hebrew Bible, Moloch is a god of child sacrifice. That's why he (in Patty) had a hungry reaction to those babies, and why he himself has a furnace for an abdomen. - Ignacio is looking even more suspicious in this episode - the visible pendant chain under his vest, his many hints of pyromania, AND having a gun in a town that bans civilian use of guns... (In fact, more people are figuring that he might be the cultist that burned Sheriff John's house - his bandages may be from the fire that caught on that cultist's cloak.) - You can actually see Streber at the hospital's front desk when Gregor gets the boys outside (same hairdo, missing an arm). Good, so he survived his encounter with Bob. - That moment when Moloch looks like Dexter and Michelle has to be an illusion and not their actual souls - the last scene before the credits shows the melted Happy Fella's eyes moving, so Dexter's soul must still be in that. - Ignacio pulled what I like to call a "reverse garbage day" on Moloch, heh. - Heavy episode...Seems the boys really do want to be better with their families. As for Gregor...well, who knows what the Eyes of the Universe will do with him. (It'd be crazy if the God of the Spooky Month world really was Eyes, though.) - For a long time, we thought the mannequin was just moving around on its own...but was it that giant spider's doing the whole time? Heck, we may have to speculate if that spider is Skid's dad...! Wouldn't be surprised, really, given how much this episode focused on the boys' relationship to their parents. (And hey, I just noticed that the mannequin was on top of Moloch when Gregor caught up to him. Did the spider do that to make sure Moloch couldn't escape?) - The stuff in the attic belonged to Skid's dad, right? There must be something the cult needs from those belongings. And if the spider really is Skid's dad, then it makes sense he'd be up there protecting it.

In retrospect, it seems weird that no adult or older teen bothered to ask where Skid and Pump's parents are; Father Gregor is the first one to actually oversee their actions and teach them how to behave properly, rather than just run around town doing whatever... which I feel should be something people ought to be more concerned about, considering how many dangerous things happen in this town, with Skid and Pump at the center of it all. That being said, I do think Kevin is right to be at least somewhat suspicious of an old man hanging around a group of children (especially given that he's a priest, yeesh), though Father Gregor's intentions are pure and well-meaning in the end, despite how stern and harsh he can be at times. By the way, in case you didn't already know this, Moloch is apparently an actual Biblical demon, a Canaanite god for whom worshiping him involved child sacrifices, which would explain his obsession with children and him staring at the newborn babies while possessing Patty. His appearance is also based on Jewish depictions of the character, with cloven hoofs and a furnace in his pelvis. Kind of a badass look, if I'm being honest. Also, 16:38 that was, in fact, a cameo, specifically for Zach Hadel, AKA PsychicPebbles, a KZfaq animator, a frequent co-host on the Let's Play channel Oney Plays, and co-creator of the Adult Swim show "Smiling Friends". He's called "Literally Zach" in the episode because what he did with the cops is pretty much Zach's normal behavior. :P Lastly, that spider in Skid's attic... Apparently it was there in episode 4 and I missed it until someone recently pointed it out for me? I had assumed the mannequin that kept moving around and standing up after being knocked down was the result of a ghost, but apparently it was the Spider's work this whole time. I bet that thing is going to be the focus of a future episode.

The “Walk Normally!” Joke gets me every time I watch this episode of Spooky Month! It just makes me laugh so much for some reason! It’s uncanny in a hilarious way

This has to be one of my favorite spooky month episodes. Sr pelo really did a fantastic job on this animation. The sad ending at the end really was unexpected and I almost cried ngl 😅

Which probably means he's left handed. Having no left arm when you're left handed would suck. At least he was able to discharge from the hospital.
