@@Amm17ar Be honest, the Nets situation was about taking the super quick jab. It's not like he doesn't want to take some well researched, decades-old vax
@Amm17ar7 ай бұрын
@@mrRambleGamble Kyrie isnt a doctor, or a scientist, nor do either of you have a medical degree to be able to substantiate whether it was or wasn't helpful or harmful. I personally dont speak on things I dont understand or have the capacity/education to understand. I wouldnt tell a Farmer how to grow his crops, cuz I dont know shit about it......But for some reason people think they can preach about whether a vaccine is good or bad. I am 100% all for you doing what you want with your body, but I draw the line at you convincing others to do what YOU think is right for your body when you dont know wtf youre talking about. Regardless, there were a lot of things going on in Brooklyn other than the vax shit, like the fact that he promoted an anti-jewish documentary..... He and Harden had problems, he was taking time off even before the league mandate and so much more. The point was that there was a pattern. He went somewhere, claimed he was happy and when things didnt perfectly suit him anymore he changed his tune. Kyrie is the ipitome of problem child. He always thinks hes the victim. But when someone has a problem everywhere they go, they tend to be the common factor in all those situations. It ultimately speaks to who he is more than it does about the teams hes been on.

Can people just stop putting the Lakers in trade talks? It would be a dumb move to trade for another player that makes 30+ million a year while LeBron and AD already take up a lot of cap space. It's the Westbrook thing all over again, but even worse when the new CBA takes effect.
@Amm17ar7 ай бұрын
Lol youre new to this NBA thing arent you? Lakers fans have included themselves in every major trade rumour for literal decades. The media loves them and they generate clicks. Its the same with New York and to a lesser degree Boston. Every All-Star in the game has been rumoured to go to those three teams at some point lol, and their fans have been trade machining (even before trade machine existed) for just as long. The Lakers could have a team of 12 All Stars and their fans would be like "we can trade the water boy and a couple picks for Jokic"
@thevoicelesswriter7 ай бұрын
@@Amm17ar Bold of you to assume that. I've been an NBA fan for over a decade, and I'm a diehard Lakers fan. I just want discussions that make sense among all fans. Just because what you said is the norm, doesn't mean that that is how it should be.
@Amm17ar7 ай бұрын
@@thevoicelesswriter Then you should know youre singing to the choire lol....Its never going to change. They generate the most amount of clicks. Like I said, they could be the worst team in the league, with no assets and franchise players worth a tonne will somehow be rumoured and speculated to go to LA. Its just how the media and the NBA fans roll. Fair assumption by me tbh, because most long-time NBA fans would know this by now and understand its just how its always going to be. Lakers and Knicks fans will always be like that.

New York doesn’t have anything that would help Cleveland. They’re best player is Brunson (who is a worse Mitchell). If Mitchell gets traded (which he won’t) it would be a three team deal. Based on what you said in the video, some interesting trades that won't happen but probably should: 1. Lakers trade Vando/Rui + Dlo to Milwaukee for Brook Lopez + pieces. Lakers need a big and need to cash in on some wing depth. 2. Cavs trade Mitchell to the Pels for Zion. Still keeps their ceiling high, they'll have to move another big, and Mitchell might like the Pels team more than he thinks. 3. Middleton + things to Cavs + Mitchell to Miami + Butler to Milwaukee. Miami would probably have to send stuff to Cavs.
@tj51807 ай бұрын
1st trade makes sense for the bucks since they get wing depth but Lopez is 35-36 doesn’t matter since he’s better then hayes and gives AD more room to play at the 4 but lakers also need a guy who can score when bron or ad who’s inconsistent some nights. Middleton Isn’t the same player he once was in 2021. Ur not serious about butler ?

Lakers should have traded for Conley instead of Russel. Just look at how Conley impacts winning on the Wolves and the downfall the Jazz is having since he got traded. Lakers should try to trade for a veteran point guard like Conley or CP3. They need a point guard who is efficient with the ball, to lessen their turnovers, they also need a PG like a Rondo or CP3 who can help AD improve his offensive production and they both can play off-ball. I understand the injury concerns that's why you need to reinforce them with depth. Young players don't win chips, the Lakers are too young across the roster to win.

I have mixed feelings about Dlo, because he's a streaky shooter, has bad shot iq, and isn't the greatest defender, but when his shot is falling I've seen him single handedly win games for the Lakers. He won us a few games with his hot shooting in the playoffs, and having a guy like that who can catch fire is valuable. But at the same time, I've seen him shoot brick after brick, ruin the flow of the game, play average at best defense, and be an overall negative. So far his good outweighs the bad, its like Jr smith, either he has a really good game, or a really bad game. There is usually no in between.

How is a person shooting 50/40 on minimal usage shooting ‘brick after brick’? All with an above average defensive rating? I feel like everyone holds D-Lo to these narratives instead of judging him by what he is actually doing. Trade him for what exactly?
