Thank you Yankees fan! That kid got a early lesson on how the old school Canadian traditions will die hard! Being a good sport means respecting your opponent and if I caught a yankee home run ball is feel cursed to keep it. I’d have to give it to a yank fan.

That was absolutely one of the greatest moments I’ve witnessed in major league sports…heck, in life in general. He’s absolutely correct, when he says “It’s all for the kids”.

What an amazing moment. Such love and positivity! Long-Time Yankees Fan here. My family got off a boat from Scotland around 1922 or so. And settled in NYC, so I have heard all the stories. That's why I am a Yankees Fan. But right this second... I am a Jays Fan too! Glad if someone had to stop the 11-game winning streak.... it was them. Great guy. And I think Canadians are great People!

@@ScotchIrishTarheel I understand that. Most times I would agree that motivations may be in that scope. However, in my view, as an aging man, and as a lifelong baseball fan, I dont think in that split second moment, his thoughts were self congratulatory. Sometimes, people are nice, just to be nice.

Wow, I started crying when i saw the kid hugging and crying. He had so much gratitude. He was so overwhelmed emotions, i felt what he felt. Beatifull story, thanks for sharing

@@Jpsulay That was truly so overblown. First of all, real fans can't even afford to go to those playoff games. Second of all, multiple reporters who were in the building said they barely heard any cheering, just a small spattering of assholes. TO has a lot of shitheads but that's a bad example. Hockey fans are 1000000x times worse.

Great act of kindness sir! I'm a long time Blue Jays fans and that's the first time i've ever seen such an emotional fan moment like that. Im 58 years old, been a diehard Yankees fan for as long as i can remember. We talk smack about our opposing teams, especially in the AL east, and we even talk smack about their fans - but this is where we see humanity at it's finest. This is where God is working. To see the joy from that kid made my day. My hat is off to that blue jays fan. Good for you, and may he be an example to all of us out there.

I can watch this clip a thousand times n still tear up every time.. The same as when the boy gets to meet Judge except that one makes me smile every time!!! Congrats 99 for getting to 62!!! Beautiful moment. This is what it's all about. BUT!!!!!! Who ever thought that a fastball low inside was the best choice at that point in Judge's plate appearance? A novice would know that was the LAST pitch to throw. But, glad for the kid. Great moment.
