Boys - they are winning without Matthews. They don't need him, and they're playing a better brand of playoff hockey without him. Other than making some alterations on the power play, they need to play EXACTLY the way they played in Games 5 and 6.... They have all the momentum, all the Mo-Jo..As a fan of another team - games 5 and 6 were the best efforts and best playoff structure I've seen out of the Leafs since the 1990's.

Gotta disagree with Kevin on Bouchard. No doubt he benefits from Mcdavid and Drai but his offensive ability is undeniable in my opinion. He’s a smooth skater who carries, passes, and shoots the puck at an elite level. His defensive game to say the least is a nightmare at times however. Although improving.

Brindamour would be perfect back in Philly! The whole city was pissed that we lost him to Wayne Primeau. He's great with younger players and also respected by the older ones. Rod develops young players and teams where is torts just runs them at 120% and doesn't work in the playoffs when you're going against better teams.

I understand what Bieksa is saying,about Mattew’s being hurt, but come on how many other players played injured,especially in the playoffs,I believe it’s all about what you can give,20percent 50 percent etc,so if his injury is really serious yes don’t play,but have a bit of pride,suck it up, show you want to win,I was not an NHL player, but we all have played injured, you suck it up and give what you can give my opinion
