If the players keep their helmets on, the refs will let them fight. The real danger is when one of the fighters falls and hits his head on the ice(it's as hard as concrete). Smacking your head on the ice almost always causes a concussion.

As a Blues fan, yes Binner deserves the ejection and possible suspension. But we were ROBBED of a goalie fight. Absolutely ROBBED. Let them fight. It would’ve been must watch tv.

If you were the Blues coach you would have seen their games so you'd know that Binnington is the only reason 2/3 of the Blues games this season were even close after 2 periods

@@rcl1955ca You apparently didn't watch the actual interview. If you heard the question Berube was actually asked, and not what these clickbaiting youtubers tried to make into a narrative by clipping up the interview, you wouldn't think that. Coach was asked about a 10 minute misconduct that Binnington was given on the way out of the game and he said "it doesn't help anything." Which is true, it doesn't. He literally said nothing characterizing anything about Binnington as "nonsense" or anything like that.

@@paulybeefs8588 Well it's between him and the coach. When you have a player and he does something, continually, after you told him to stop, it's not a good look for him and he makes the coach look bad. I wonder what the long term effects will be.

Talk about an overreaction to completely incidental contact. Hartman didn't know Binnington was going to spin around like that and leads to a childish outburst by a guy that was mad he got scored on.
