I was in Toronto last night, I watched the game with a gentleman who survived an aneursym bursting in his head (still dealing with anxiety and paranoia) while visiting my mother after her back surgery. My dog had just died (Rest in peace Otto, I love you) and I was broken, this guy wanted to watch the game with us and keep me from feeling alone as my uncle also had an aneurysm then died cause he hit his head while he was on blood thinners the doctor forgot to tell him to stop so my mom let him knoe before i came that i was hurting alot, we watched most of it but had to leave during the last period cause we're only allowed to be there so long. We got to the hotel and by the time the game was over all you could here and we were on the 24th floor of the Chelsea was people cheering and cars honking their horns in pride. I have to say after having one of the worst weeks of my life it made me happy to see so many people joined together in celebration. I kind of wish I had of gone down to the street to wander around but I had to be up early and sleep didn't come easy. I made a new friend and saw what I enjoy about canada despite all the things I dislike about it. Whether or not the leafs win the cup ill remember that for a long time

Oilers fan here. Great win and great series by the Leafs. A large number of folks in the years past like to give the Leafs and their fans a hard time, but I hope every Leaf fan enjoys this, you guys deserve it and all the best moving forward :D

I’m so happy for Dubas. He is the best gm in the league and has been putting a team out there on the ice every year and it finally paid off. If the leafs are smart they will give Dubas whatever money he wants, he is very good with asset management. Let’s go Leafs

I have suffered through so much for so long. I was a bright eyed 10 yr old when I was at Maple Leaf Gardens and I saw the Leafs win that cup in '67 and I got to meet Johnny Bower. One curse down, one to go. Well done Leafs.

Awesome moment here. Congrats Leafs fans. As a HABS fan, that OT goal reminded me of that goal that got us into the Stanley Cup finals over Vegas a few years ago...a great moment !

As a Bruins fan, I have to give where credit is due. Congratulations, leaf fans. I will admit, if we do see you in the next round, I would be concerned. To get the win over Tampa's powerhouse is very impressive. We're (embarrassingly) struggling against a damn wild card team rn so I can't lie... I am a little jealous that you guys knocked tampa in 6😅 Congrats to all you pesky Leaf fans on breaking the 19 year - round 2 curse!

What a moment man. It was such a huge release. Even I felt a weight off my shoulders and i've never taken a faceoff in my life. Can only imagine what those players feel. Particularly the guys that have had to deal with all the heartbreak and media shellacking every days for several years.

I'm gonna watch this video so much over the next few days. I listened to it as it was 3.04am in Scotland when the goal went in! I had a massive lump in my throat at Bowen singing Happy days are here again! Those scenes from maple leaf square are incredible and I hope there are many more in this post season for the fans to enjoy!

@@bcuzz109 it's like £4000 for flights, hotels and tickets for my family and that's just to stand at the very back! I watch them on TV occasionally but it's just easier to listen due to the time of day. And I kinda like Joe Bowen and Jim Ralph! We get maybe 2 or 3 games a year at matinee times that are good for Europeans to watch on TV. The only real problem with the radio is the amount of alpine credit adverts though they've disappeared in recent months 🙏
