Looks great Waiting for my shop to call me with an estimate to slap on a 200. Was gonna go with a 240 but I like white walls, which I've never seen in a 240 so I'm going with a 200 and most likely a chain conversion on my 2000 Hugger

thats a sick bike man. I have a 48 aswell. I was thinking about getting a 200 wide tire but the only thing holding me back was the difficulty i was having finding a 200 white wall tire. most the 200s i see are low profile but yours looks like it would have enough meat to have a white wall.

@ Benji: The blinker front and rear are from Ebay (German Ebay). I have since sold the bike to my brother but I did switch to mutli stage (intergrated stop, turn, drive) blinkers in the rear. You can get them all for about $150 @ Raul: The pipe is a Sikpipe. My seat is from Ebay but hand tooled in the US. The swing arm can take up to a 200mm rear but you have to chop the fender struts

The blinkers are from ebay Germany. the relocation brackets are from some company here in Germany.

you can reuse your hub and spokes. I went to the excel wheels website and bought a blemished chrome 5.5 wheel.

Hey man did you just have to grind off the struts or did you also have to grind all the way around. Also what gender did you have to use. I'm trying to keep my struts and just make the gap greater so I can still have a passenger. Thanks man

I believe for a 190mm tire you can grind the insides of the fender struts way down to accommodate the tire, might even be a 180 sport bike tire. For a 200 you have to cut the struts, at least I did. You can try grinding and see if you can squeeze it but you also have to calculate fender width and tire expansion under heat. As for 2up, I am running a custom fender I bought here for about $1000.

I stuck a sik pipe on my 48 this week and it started melting my stock air cleaner. I ordered a bobber iar cleaner hoping it makes the clearance. What do u think? AmI gonna get away with it or will I have to go with a heavy breather? It's a menace pipe. Thanks

I'm in Kaiserslautern. on most newer sports ter you can use the stock swing arm but you have to convert it to a chain. 93s idk

hey man question, I have a 89 sportster evo, at the Harley store here in Amsterdam they told me I couldnt fit a filter like you have on my bike. Do I need a different carb? Plus your bike looks like I would do it Xd very nise! Perhaps you can fill me in. Thanks

MacT_5Foot8 The rim is an excel 16x 5.5 and I had it respoked with the factor hub and spokes. The chain is a simple 120 double link chain and I had it cut to fit. Sprockets I can't remember but the back was an OEM piece from an old softail

I have a question, i got a 48 2014 model and it was a second hand one, the previous owner did a ducktail on the bike with new led blinkers i think its the 3 in 1 taillights, now i want to remove my ducktail fender do i need to do some electrical stuff on it or not ?

@@Thisfutureman depends on what your trying to do. Lift the seat up and all the blinker connectors are right there. The previous owner probably just cut the original plug off and reused it with the aftermarket blinkers...that's what I did. Once again depending on what your trying to run will determine what you need to do.

@@rhinevalleygarage well i just want to have a short fender instead of that ducktail one , but like you said he already worked on those blinker for this fender so i think i should not even be touching them, i will lift the seat up and just deconnect them, but will that not trigger of the alarm ?
