Way to go, Noah! i’m always appreciated your humble attitude. I live up the Wishkah, north of Aberdeen on the West Coast of Washington. Born & Raised is the only group of hunters that does what we do on the West Coast. I enjoyed angry Spike when they were like you brothers and friends just going out and doing it and video it. The way you and Chase, use the camera makes everything so special. I never miss a video, but I seldom leave a post. I appreciate all that you guys do for us guys on the West Coast. Before you and angry Spike, nobody knew how hard it was telling Elk and Bear and deer on the West Coast.

Congratulations Noah and Chase, that stalk was awesome in that steep logging debris and then an 88 yard shot that was on the money. Great way to end a three year quest.

Congrats, Noah. Loved it and the fact that you stayed true to yourself on the use of a bow is, well, awe inspiring. The story was also so well told and just made us feel a part of it. Keep it up and can.t wait for the next goal or story that you choose to bring to us.

Way to be persistent Noah! It is not easy to stalk in our Oregon coastal range, especially through that slash they leave behind. I've been watching all the born & raised spring bear videos, & I remember you carrying your bow couple yrs back & I thought "Now that's cool, he's up for the real challenge", and here you are completing your goal. Congrats bro!!🎉

Congrats on a great hunt. I really enjoyed this episode, more relatable to an eastern woods hunter than the usual gang up on them method of this crew, much more personal. Looking forward to Trent and Steve's pistol and ML hunts, and really enjoyed Trent's ML elk hunt.

Love that you did it with the bow, but man you got lucky! If that bear had not moved after the shot, it would have been a miss. He stepped 2-3 feet to the left and right into your arrow. That's why no matter how good you are on the range, at that distance they can move so much after the shot. Especially on an alert animal.

Great Job I began challenging myself in 2019 started hunting quite a lot with iron site’s on a 30-30 for whitetail in NY. And recurve or long bow. Have enjoyed success with both but the traditional archery has been challenging and rewarding thumbs up on having the patience and dedication to get it done. To God be the Glory!!

I really enjoyed hearing the story of setting the goal, seeing the persistence, and seeing the commitment to the method. IDK if I **PERSONALLY** would have taken a bear that size, but it's not my tag, and it clearly made Noah happy, and that's all that matters! Congrats on a GREAT hunt Noah, and on meeting your goal!

That was outstanding, guys! I especially enjoyed the camera POV behind you & the cameraman. It gives viewers a perspective on just how challenging the hunt is while filming. Additionally, it felt like the viewer was on the hunt with you. Don't let some social media marketing organizations suggest you slick it up and make it more sales/marketing worthy because that's BS. Keepmit real! My only question is, what's up with hunting in tennis shoes?

Congratulations, great job showing how hard it is to stalk in a so called "clear cut". The west coast range of the PNW is steeper ,thicker and wetter then any other place I have hunted. I'm just glad the mosquitoes and ticks aren't as bad in the fall as they are in the spring. What broad head were you using, I'm looking for a good cut on contact that flies well?

Great job on the bow bear 🐻 congratulations. One thing that I’ve noticed on a few videos is you don’t really show the animal much after you have walked up to it, for instance this bear we only seen a still photo as the you tube credit popped up on the screen, so if you guys can video the bear layed out or lifting it up etc same as some elk that would be awesome as, as us international guys 🇦🇺, don’t see these animals here so a better look once you walk up to them would be awesome, all your videos are great so this is just a tiny think, thanks heaps keep safe 👍👌

At the risk of sounding like a hater (I’m familiar with the incredibly high degree of difficulty involved in trying to slip down off a landing and get in close on an animal where it’s steep, uneven, and everything cracks underfoot), I want to pose some questions: What killed that bear? Your woodsmanship/stalking abilities, or the monumental advances in archery technology? Does a bowhunter in the 80s, 90s, even early 2000s, kill that bear? I don’t want to minimize the effort put forth, you guys look over more bears in a single spring then I’ll probably see in my lifetime. But to put in all that work, all those stalks, come so close, and then settle for letting one rip at a range that in the not-too-distant past would have been reserved only for firearms - it just feels like answering 99% of a test from memory only to look over your classmate’s shoulder for the answer to the final question. I appreciate Noah’s commitment to the bow, and I think his decision to use it needs absolutely no explaining, no justifying. I just would’ve loved to have seen him say, “okay, the bear won this time, on to the next.” And then end this story with a shot measured in feet, not yards, because he continued to bust his tail and believed it could be done. I think deep down that’s what any bowhunter lives for.

Don't need the whole story for justifying using a bow, it's something that you wanted to do is all the explanation you needed. Cool video

Luckily that bear took a step before the arrow got there.. he doesn't move that shot is a foot left . The first shot is a good example of not fully relying on your electronics and going old school with in field yardage estimation.
