Yes this fixes the issue but, how come the issue only started occurring now? I've had my Spotify connected for well over a year and it only started pausing my music recently... I'd like to know if there is a fix for this issue without disconnecting my Spotify because I like having it accessible on my Discord profile, I think there might have been a fix because I've had this issue before and resolved it but I'm not quite sure... Edit: I was able to fix the issue by going into my voice and video settings, scrolling to the bottom and clicking reset voice settings, not sure which setting was preventing my music from playing but this worked!

Oh FFS!! Now that you say it, it did only happen when I was in a Discord call. Either way, this helped, THANK YOU SO MUCH. Everywhere else was "Delete cache, resinstall, change settings to this and that", nothing worked - this did, thank you.

I tried this, clearing cache, signing out of all Spotify and discord devices, enabled push to talk just to try it, reset voice and video settings, deleted redownloaded the app, but its still pausing do you know of any other solutions?

what i did was reset my discord voice & video settings its the red button at the bottom and after that it worked

this is caused when your discord mic is producing sound for 30 seconds, spotify thinks maybe the song is echoing into the mic and so it stops playing after 30 seconds
