WOW! this tutorial has blown my mind. I've started to learn PS in 1989, while in my junior year in college. I've worked in PS throughout my design career. I learning very early in my career there are abundant of ways to accomplish an affective design. I'm glad that I never grew arrogant enough to think I know it all. Again! WOW! Another amazing tutorial! One suggestion I'd make is using Diffuse >> Anisotropic rather than a Gaussian blur to soften the effect of the Dissolve blend mode (something I found really effective when trying to lose the harsh edges created by the Threshold adjustment).
