That is a fantastic makeover! Never underestimate the power of paint. There is nothing like the sound of a fountain in the garden, it brings the garden to life. The heat has definitely arrived, even early in the morning is unbearable. Stay cool, Grayson!

An easier way to darken crevices is to spray the lighter color over all, then apply the darker color with a rag, wiping off the high points as you go.

very nicely done, although a lot of work. It looks so natural. I allowed mine to patina naturally. It looks pretty good, although it took a few years. It's made of resin and not concrete.

@DorinePederzanistudios Thanks for your comment. I appreciate it. My fountain is also made of resin, but the technique I used makes it look like concrete. Just the look I was going for.

Wow! Excellent timing. You spontaneously came up on my feed, so grateful. My cousin was throwing out a similar fountain, I begged for it. It’s in great shape but desperately in need of a makeover. I was clueless but thanks to you, I know I can do this! Broken wrist, but Will get it done next month, fingers crossed! 🤞 Beautiful work, truly inspiring!

I love all your detail work it makes the end result terrific. Do you know how long your work will last in the elements? How about spraying the fountain with some kind of clear coat to extend it's life? And do you know where you got the kneeling angel in your video? I have them sprinkled throughout my gardens but I haven't seen one with the arms crossed like yours. TIA
@GardeningWithGrayson25 күн бұрын
I sprayed the fountain with a clear coat after the video. i didn't film that part. i think the finish will last for a few years. The Angel statue was a birthday gift a few years ago. Thanks for your comment.
